submitting drawings on basilmarket

I think most of the people that visit basilmarket wonder why some screenies or drawings get posted by the site mods and some don’t.

Here is an example:

the first image i have ever submitted on ms didn’t get through(well maybe because it didn’t look good enough)

2. link : “sin gets steely”
3.http://img239.imageshack.us/img239/5034/unfaithful1oh7.jpg : a drawing of unfaithful (random char who asked me once to draw her)

2nd i guess it was funny maybe that’s why it got posted but when i looked at other images from other people they were about the looks so im wondering why did “sin gets steely” got posted and unfaithful not?

just wondering…

    i use a scanner to put it on my computer

    and for drawing chars just mail me the name of your char(s) and i look it up and try to draw it (if i have the time for it, dam, so busy since school has started)

  23. That is weird . . . I submitted a CG art that I have taken lots of time into and it never appeared. Maybe because my character was showing a bit too much skin? But really nice. I think I like the first one more than second. But yeah . . . basilmarket is . . . wierd.

  37. The people who approve/deny the drawings on Basil are absolutely ridiculous. The edits/comics I submit to them are better than most of the junk that gets accepted and still it gets denied while less humorous or half-assed jobs get accepted. I really think they’re retarded. You’re drawings have style and don’t worry about whether or not they deny it. They’re idiots -.-

  39. My sister drew something on paint and it was wonderful(we’re both anime artists), but when it was submitted, it wasn’t accepted.
    It was a Sin in an interesting pose throwing stars. :3
    Anyways, nice pictures! I like the second one, it has good expressions.
