Maple Adventures Series 2 Part 2

“Hmmmmmmmmmmmm…. Which prey first?”
“Everybody run! The Silver Balrog is much stronger than his Crimson kin!” I warned everybody.
“We can take down the white monster!” yelled a foolish warrior.

I tried to stop him, but he yelled out “CHARGE” 10 other people, including him, stormed at the great beast. In a matter of seconds, half of them were flying. The other half had struck his demonic aura, only to be skewered to death.

I raised my eyebrow “Anyone else think they can take on him?” I sarcastically asked.

Everyone ran back into the ship, only some people stayed behind to hold the Balrog off. Thus, the battle began. I lost count of how many times I healed injured people, how many people I couldn’t help in time, how many Magic Claws, Fire Arrows, Lucky Sevens and Savage blows rained upon the Silver Balrog’s hide. When he tried to fly out of the wall of attacks we sent at them, the Ice mages sent Ice Strikes to pin him down.
We were finally gaining the upper hand, when he used some sort of black magic to summon dozens of monsters. He flew off back to his ship to nurse his wounds.

Coward. Killing so many of us, and then hiding behind his servants We fought to the finish. We won, but oh so sadly, everyone was badly injured. I shook my head. I can’t heal this many people I tried anyway. In the end, I realized it didn’t matter. Half of them had expired. Rage burst into me again. I felt so much power inside me, I felt it would consume me if I didn’t use it. I gave out an ear-splitting yell. At that signal, everyone started attacking the dark, iron-clad ship. They lost their mast and their propellers.
As the ship was falling, Silver Balrog flew out of it. The cycle began all over again. This time, he was losing at the very start. The upper hand was ours. Ours? I looked around. Only a handful left was fighting beside me. But they ran out of strength soon as well. Only I was left, and I was losing my energy fast as well. The only thing that kept me running was my daimaye
As I realized that I was the only hope, I pulled out a bottle of purple liquid. A power elixir. When I drank it, all my power returned. I smiled. The battled from two years ago had started again.
I was sent on a running spree. I could only attack when the Silver beast stopped to rest from his onslaught of attacks. When I saw that his attacks were slowing down, I saw my chance. I rushed forward, bringing out my staff above my head and striking him. This was enough to stun him. I sent a flurry of Magic Claws. He fell. Suddenly, the passengers that were hiding in the cabin all rushed out. Apparently, they didn’t care about their safety anymore. All they cared about was killing Silver Balrog. As he tried to rise again, an onslaught of attacks forced him down. Then, I recognized the energy flowing from him.
“RUN” I yelled out, “He’s calling on his demonic energy again!”

As the passengers scattered, a black shadow covered his body. He teleported behind me.

“You are very strong, but no match for the dark powers.”

He struck my back and sent an energy ball flying at me. It got me in mid-air. Then I hit the mast of the ship and tumble to the floor. I felt my energy slowly leaving. My eyes grew heavy………………………..
