A Tomato’s Not a Fruit~ 3~

Raine sighed. “So… Why did you save me?”

They were sitting on a bench drinking some potions and lazing around. “Oh, yeah. Well, I needed some octopus legs for one of Nella’s quests. Then I saw you in trouble and somehow you seemed similair…” He got a faraway look and continued, “And then I just kind of jumped into action.” He laughed. Raine joined him. “Hmmm… you don’t know the whole story, do you?” Raine blinked. “Know what story?” “I’ll just tell you the story. It kind of seems like you don’t know the whole thing….” So he began.

“Once, before any of us were born… all except for a boy named Wizet.” “Well that’s a funny name.” Raine giggled. “Ahem. If I may continue?” Raine nodded vigorously.

“Wizet is and was a mage. And he became a very strong mage. He was content with life, although he felt something missing. Wizet soon found out that what he was missing were friends. Family. So he created them. Then He created jobs. Jobs like Thieves, Warriors, Mages, and Bowmen. At first he had created only four friends. His friends became the leaders and instructors of the jobs that we know today. Like the Dark Lord.” Raine made a face. The Dark Lord didn’t like her, and she didn’t like him. “So. Then He thought that maybe there should be others. So Wizet created us. Us people. He allowed us to choose what job we wanted, and sometimes a few of us become high leveled yet with no job. Those are called Beginners.”

“Wait! What do you mean by ‘level’?” “I’ll get to thatif you stop interrupting.” Raine apologized. “So. Answering your question… He still lives today, and He ranks people and calls it ‘levels.’ You yourself, Raine, you are ranked level nine. To be a Thief, Warrior, or Bowmen, you need to be level ten. To be a mage you be level eight. You can get more then one job, too. As for example, Rogue at level ten, Bandit at level thirty, and Chief Bandit at level seventy. But those are only a few. Any more questions?” Raine already knew somethings he had said, and also learned a few. So Wizet, or He as everyone calls him, is a Mage? “What level is Wizet?”

Peace blinked. “I don’t know. After level 144, Wizet disappeared. But you can be sure that he is still here. Just lost somewhere else. Ah… But there are a few he gave his eternal power to. Those are called GMs. Game Masters. Now! Time for you to go to sleep.” “What?! That’s unfair! I have to go train–” “Not a word, missy.” Peace interrupted. “Regain your strength and THEN I’ll give you some time to train. Bed. Now.” Raine sighed and did as she was told. Her mama didn’t raise an unobediant soul. Although she could admit she was stubborn…
