A Tomato’s Not a Fruit~ 11~

author’s note* OK DO U GUYS WANT ME TO CHANGE THE NAME OF THIS THING!?!?!? or wut?!!?!? – -” sigh* well heres part 11. enjoy… – -“….

Raine slept soundly. The night air was chilly and dark clouds that drifted above promised rain.
“EEYAAAAAAH!!!!!” Raine jerked up from her soundless sleep. She heard the scream again. “EEEEEP!!!” Raine scrambled up. Who the crap could be freakin’ screaming at this time of night?! Raine thought furiously. She looked at her wind dial watch. It found the time from taking the air’s temperature’s and age. A tiny trincket from her mother from her birthday. The watch read, 1:57 AM. Raine groaned then scrambled into her armor.

She fumbled with the ties of her Red Thief Hood and ripped on her arm sleeves while wiggling into her Red Nightshift. Then she scrambled into her Red Nightshift Pants, then her Red Ninja Sandals. Raine threw her fingers into her Black Duo. She muttered something foul about having to wake up so soon, then gripped her Field Dagger and jumped off of her platform, rousing a few snails. The snails muttered and went back to sleep.

Raine found the one screaming. It was a girl. “Hey! Hey– stop screaming!!” The girl was still screaming then when Raine came to yell at her, she stopped. “WHY ARE YOU SCREAMING?!” Raine yelled at her, cranky from her lack of sleep. The girl pointed. A boy was tickling her. Raine steamed and swore that smoke aroused from her ears. The once-screaming girl looked at Raine, sprawled on the floor hugging a teddy bear. “Hey.. don’t be mean..” the boy said getting up. Then he looked at her strangely. “How can you see me?” “‘Cause I have eyes, you dolt!!… and…I’LL BE MEAN WHEN I WANT TO BE MEAN!!” Raine yelled back at him. “Whoa. Cranky much..” he said raising his arms in the air as a sign of surrender. Raine walked away. She couldn’t see their names because of the dark, and didn’t want to. Raine went back to her sleeping post, but didn’t strip off her armor to donn her night gown. She just fell onto the ground for sleep.

“EYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!” Raine heard the scream again. Her eyes popped open again and her head steamed with anger. She got up and fell down onto the ground under her platform once more. “wHaT nOw?!” Raine’s voice was deathly patient, but she didn’t look at all patient. The girl with the teddy bear pointed. The boy she had yelled at before lay sprawled on the ground, face in the dirt. Raine came and shook him. He didn’t respond. She flipped him over to see his face and lit her magic into a light and held it against his face. His eyes were rolled white and his face was pale. Raine gasped. He looked strangled. “Who did this?!” She asked the girl. Now in the light, Raine saw she was only a little girl. About age five. Raine looked into the girl’s eyes. She had no name. Raine stared. “Who… who did this, girl?” Raine whispered. “I don’t know,” The girl sobbed. Then she stopped suddenly. “How.. how can you see me?” The girl whispered suddenly. “Because… you’re just like me.. but without a…” Raine replied but didn’t finish her sentence. A black light blew out her magic light. “What–” The fat blob of black shining light muffled her voice. But did more then that. The blob covered her nose and mouth, causing Raine to choke. She couldn’t breathe. The girl on the floor with no name stared at Raine, frightened. Raine quickly alarmed her friends on her Buddy List. “GUYS… GHOST..CHOKING…M..” Raine didn’t finish. She closed her eyes and ran out of breath. She hung limp from the blob.

Raine opened her eyes. “Am I in Heaven..? Am I dead..?” She looked into Peace’s eyes. “She’s clear!” He called then left from her view. “Eh..?” Raine was confused. Her voice was raspy. Where was she? “WHERE AM I?!” Raine voiced her thoughts. “Heaven.” That was Shillin’s voice. Wait… “HEAVEN?! SO YOU GUYS DIED TOO?!” Raine struggled to get up. A hand pushed her down. “I demand, to.. to get a cup of water..” She felt nauseated. She threw up on herself then choked out the bits that fell into her mouth. “Blech!” “Eeew…” She heard all her buddies’ voices there. (*yea this part is kinda disturbing u_u*) “Shillin? Ocean? Potato? Peace? Jess?” She croaked. “Yeh?” Jess’s worried face hovered before hers. “Raine? You ‘kay?” “Depends on what you mean, ”kay'” Raine rasped out. “She needs sleep! Leave her alone!” Raine heard someone say, but didn’t recognize the voice. “But–” That was Potato. “Go! Away! Shoo! Get!” That was the stranger’s voice again. “But, she–” Potato again. “If you keep talking, I’ll have to knock her out myself!” said the stranger, “You can’t–” Peace struggled to say, “THAT’S IT!! Down she goes!” The stranger yelled, furious. “WAIT!!” Raine shouted, her raspy voice not that loud, was too late. Raine blacked out.
