Leveling, of course! Level 57, chumps, and to commemorate it, I got some cash shop items! 10 dollars worth, to boot. I managed to stop by Target and pick up a 10 dollar Nexon game card and hid it from every other customer until I reached the checkout and bought it, in which I promptly stuck it in my pocket. Do not worry, I will not be spared the ridicule of purchasing NX, but it does save some public shame.

So I get home from Target. You’d assume I’d be giddy enough to scratch off the back and redeem my points immediately, right? Right.

No, wrong. I fell asleep because I have a cold. Second week of summer and I have a bloody cold. How very un-summerlike. Regardless, I woke up from my deep slumber two hours later, and after taking some pain medications I scratched off the back and went on to the Maple Global website using a combination of NoScript and IE Tab for Firefox. But wait! I couldn’t sign in! I was appalled, and so I tried the other method (using google > right click on link > open in IE Tab), but that was fruitless. So I grudgingly got on Internet Explorer and attempted to log into my account.

Does not work.

What? Que? Was? So I get angry a bit, curse Nexon America, and then I go to take a potty break. I come back, log on, redeem points, and receive bacon. That was easy! Ironically, I could log onto my account using Firefox after that. Hrm, odd!

So I get on Maple Story, open up Cash shop, and I go to my Wish List (which I time consumingly compiled). Ah yes, the beauty of pink pilot suits and a pink crossbow shiner. Bloody awesome, right? Right! I donned on my flamboyantly pink outfit and admired myself for a good ten minutes. If you look to your left, you’ll see my sexy self in pink. Unfortunately, I did not have enough NX to get a matching hat nor cape (or lack thereof; I.E. transparant cape). I would use my Black Napoleon cape, because it encompasses my physique more completely and the gold trim of the cape accentuates my pink attire, but it does not have the +10 speed that my Icarus cape does! Pity, since the Icarus cape is far too small to be noticed, and its trim is more of a bronze color than a brighter gold.

However, my Purple Steel Tipped boots go quite nicely with my character. Rather than purple, I’m willing to think it’s more of a pink, which goes fantastically with my pink outfit. The pink crossbow shiner is smaller and less bulkier, allowing more of my body to be seen by the general public, thus allowing more people to admire my sense of fashion and how it is quite superior. Again, my hat is a source of fashion disaster, and the only hat that compliments my fashion is the Maple bandana as is shown in the screenshot. The second screenshot showcases how horrible it looks with a Green Maro, but of course a beret is still sexy.

Oh, and my main point of typing this up. I leveled. Zakum PQ’s are fun , since I get a whopping 20,000EXP per run, and I do it thrice a day! That’s almost 10% a day for me! Of course, it will soon diminish, and I will tear.
