I am pretty sure those reading this blog of mine plays the wonderful game of maplestory. Now i wonder, how did you get to know about maplestory? From your friends? Magazines? Books? Internet?
Well, let me tell you how my maple – story started. It was a long hard day, i was earning neopoints in the game i had been playing for a year or two- Neopets. Maybe you have heard of it, maybe you have not. Well i was getting bored and switched off my computer and went to my sister’s room to see what she was doing. As usual, she was blasting of the music while playing online games. I went into her room, and found out that she was playing some kind of game. I looked closer, and asked her what kind of wierd game this was. She replied, “This is maplestory stupid. Buzz off before i kick you.” Wanting to know more about this game, which i thought the name sounds wierd, i asked my sister what kind of game. ” THIS IS A 2-D GAME AND CHECK OUT THE MAPLESEA WEBSITE AND NOW GO OUT BEFORE I REALLY KICK YOU.” She screamed. I ran out like a little chicken and switched on my computer again to check out the maplesea website she was talking about. I decided to dl the game after looking at its detail and WOW i went. The downloading took more than 5h and the times totally sux. Well i waited and waited and finally i get to play the game. I started out in the maple island and decided to be an archer after looking at the website but i thought adding a few points into luk and int doesnt matter and got them both to 10. And then my sis came and looked at my character and said,” wow your guy is messed up, better delete and create another character.” So i did as she said and got my new soon-to-be archer to lvl 5. Then i felt it was really bored in maple island and decided to quit. My sister, looking at me, decided to help me train a warrior to lvl 20 and then give it to me.
Well this is how my maplestory started. After six loooooong months, i have a lvl 21 archer, lvl 32 fighter, lvl 38 cleric, lvl 36 sin, lvl 35 bandit, lvl 30 spearman, and a lvl 22 mage. I knooow i am sloooow.

Wow! I don’t have the patience to get 30s in all the classes.
But anyway, I found out when I invited a friend over, and he said “Hey, have you heard of Maple Story? It’s some game I heard about on IGN that’s 2D, Side-scrolling, and you live in a mushroom!” (Which was an illusion they created when they made the icon a mushroom house and the character select screen had your characters standing outside.) So I download the file in 25 minutes or so, (yeah I’m that fast) and started playing.
Hovering over my shoulder was my brother, my friend, and at one point, even my mother! I killed ’till I was level 7 or so, then handed the controls over. I thought: “Bandits look pretty cool. I love speed and stealth.” After getting the bandit to a measely level 20, the beta ended. OH NOES! THERE GOES MY CHARACTER! So I restarted, but this time, made a mage. Cleric to be exact. And that’s how it all started.
Wow. That was longer than I thought it would be.
I found Maplestory on a website lol, it was all accident but i found the game, and now i am completely obsessed! It is now a big part of my life and all of my pals play with me, cause my only pals are in the game XD ditched all my real buddys and got myself a girlfriend and an awsome life!

I had downloaded MS after liking the pretty pictures. Then when my account got frozen, I just quit and started my adventure in MS.
My first assassin came out awful >.< High INT. But now I’ve learned my lesson.

I was on Neopets, and went to someone’s userlookup. They had a screenie of their character on a bridge like thing. The person had also stated their level, job and the wonderful MapleStory website. Thus I got curious, checked out the webbie and here I am!
how did you guys know it threw neopets?
I made it here as I was looking for Halo 2 videos and instead ran across one saying “Mushmom PWNed” and when I checked it out it made me curious. My first build wouldn’t have been bad had I ended up deciding to become a warrior but I decided on an Rogue instead. I made it to lvl 15 before erasing that character to start over again with low STR.
On the second time I made it up to lvl 15 again before I finally got a straight answer from someone rather than a “Shut up N00b” when I asked about throwing stars and I’ve been in love with them ever since.
I started out with a friend who had suggested that I play MapleStory, but at the time, we couldn’t, because Maple was JUST coming out of Beta.
So like, 2 days after the official was launched, I joined on Bera.

I found out thanks to my older sister. She had made a character and told me to try it out. I got hooked on her warrior and she let me pay while she downloaded the program on my other computer. She left it six months after but i was too addicted to quit

Hahahah same for me . . . well sort of. The person who played it was on a forum I usually visited, but I heard about it reading a conversation between him and someone else on Gaia. I figured I had nothing better to do with my time, so why not check it out. <.< That was last summer, back when Bera was empty enough that you could actually train in Channel 1 (I wasted so much of the event time killing stumps and dark stumps with my messed up warrior. I was such a noob back then. XD)

I was atchaully on a RS fan site and i lost alot money in a stake soo i quit rs and was looking through the fansite, and i saw a RS vs MS thread, and decided to try MS out since i had nothing better to do ^_^
I went to my frend’s house to play and when I opened his computer to go online , I saw maplestory on his desktop , i ignored since I usually see many new games on his computer everytime i go to his house. Well . one say i was realli bored , trying to think of anything that might be fun. Then I remembered Maplestory for some reason . . . I decided to download the game and checked it out. I played for a few levels ( till 7-8 I think )(I didn’t even know about the jobs yet so I just stuffed all my points to Str. having no idea what the others were for) and then saw my friend with Maplestory was on. I told him I downloaded it and he decided to hlp me out with the game. I went over to his house again and logged on to my account. He told me I had a really messed up character and he told me to make a new one. I made a new character and made a mage since i thought it saounded cool after he explained each one to me. And so, that is how I got to play Maplestory.

Well, my story is,
i Moved to korea in 2003 to visit my family there and to say hi. I ended up staying there for over a year. My parents sent me to a nearby elementary school and people were talking about a game called “maple story”. They invited me to a P.C. room (aka internet cafe) that they had all over the city. P.C. rooms became culture in korea and nobody in korea ever had a day where they didnt spend at least an hour in one. So I went, and the most popular games were starcraft, maplestory, counterstrike, and warcraft 3. My freinds introduced me to it and I started playing. I eventually moved back to America in 2004 and I had long since lost the password. Then one day in 2005 sometime, i got bored and looked up maple story on google. I saw that they had an english version and I was thrilled. I started playing imediately. Well, thats my story

I was playing GunZ back in the days and someone was yelling : trading level 60 gunz account for maple story account.
I didn’t pay attention very much.
Then, on a forum I was posting on, someone said : Go check that site ! There was like hundreds of online games and then I saw ‘MapleStory’, i remembered the thing in GunZ and downloaded it. At first sigh it was boring but then I got better and became a warrior and loved it.
Finally, I made 23 warrior(messed, deleted), 23 rogue(messed,deleted), 35 fp wizard(boreness, now my mule), and now, my real char, 40 assassin (very hawt).
I was like level 10 with my warrior when I told my friend to play with me. He got same reaction as me, but then we got used to this and now we’re addicted XD.
Heya , I started by bothering this girl i liked and then she said “shut up so I can play my game”.So I did and then phew minutes later i asked what game?, she said Maple story. I went on link and checked for ‘Maple Story” and saw a site link so I went to it. I asked my friend “Kewl i’ll try it out and then i chose to be a warrior” I fought and fought until I learned about my file being scrood up at level 10 because i still didnt get my job. I than made a new warrior in broa and deleted my first scrood file.After i made my file and i was lvl 12 warrior I was loving the game. The next day I asked my friend at school what world is she in, she never answer. I heard my friends talking about Maplestory and i butted in and said hey I play, I just started, What world are u in? Most of them and my best friend said ” Windia “. I thought my friend(girl) was in windia too. So I deleted my lvl 12 warrior when i got home from school and made a mage in Windia ,Level 15 beforeI went to bed. The next day after school my friend (girl) was on so I asked her what world she was in, She answered” Broa. I went home and got mad atmyself for deleting my warrior. I decided to play windia since i was level 18 when I found out, I got to level 33 with Ice/Light mage Ice first. and a 19 Archer. I went and saw my friends brother online and he said he played too and that his sister said I played. He got me into joining in Broa, And that is how I started Maplestory.
I made about atleast 13 files some deleted some not.

xDD! I found out about Maple from a friend. Actually, it was jMS. Then he told me there’s an english version as well. o_o;
Like all the games I’ve played, my brother started it, I spotted it, yelled at him for trying to murder our one and only (insanely lousy) computer with such a huge download, and then promptly got hooked and outleveled my brother. XD Been playing since the Singapore-Malaysia-Thailand gateway, and now in Aquila.
Well back in the time when I was in luuurve with Runescape, (yes I was 99.99% retarded) I looked up Google images for these 2 online games I’ve been hearing about. These games were in fact, Gunbound and Maple Story. How I got to know them? They were popular everywhere. Browsing through the pictures, laughing to myself, “How would people liek these games? This game is just like playing Worms, and this one, 2D?! You gotta be kiddin’ me!”
1 day later, my cousin asked me if I played Maple Story on MSN. I’m like “Oh you mean that retarded 2D game?” “It ain’t retarded, check it out at least, ”
So I clicked on the Maple Global website she sent me. Eh, still 2D crappiness. I downloaded it. After a long thinking in my noggin’ I decided I wanted to be an Archer (note: you do NOT know how messed up this archer was, The LUK and INT was the same level as my STR and DEX, in the 20’s). Maple Island: OMGwhat? Snails, lol you gotta be kiddin’ me. This is one fudged up game. I ended up playing it for a few more days, getting to level 20, making a first good friend on Maple Story, Whitebandit21. He somehow managed to hit higher than me and wear proper clothes for his level. He was also an archer. Yes, his stats were normal, unlike mine. My cousin, was still level 16, the same level she introduced me to Maple. She is a slow leveler. And no, she doesn’t play anymore. I quit that character.
After a few characters, more like, 9?, I now have a character I want to stick with. KuroCROSS of Bera, Level 33 Xbowman. Yes, I’M A CROSSBOWMAN! D: OHMIGOSH!
I played a bit in the beta, but my account got erased when they changed some stuff around and I didn’t bother creating a new one. Then back in February I guess I decided to give the game another shot. Now I’m almost level 50 and totally hooked, though all my friends, who started playing with me at the time, have mostly given up on the game.

wow, you have so many accounts, I’d say you play quite alot, lol. If you want to level faster, have 1 main and play the others only when you’re bored. XD
