I know no one cares at all about me whatsoever, but just thought I’d let you know I just quit Maple Story for good.
That’s right, for good.
Or maybe for bad. I never thought quitting a game in which you met wonderful friends and enjoyed for so long was good, but… you know, the saying is for good so I’ll stick with that.
Before i start whining about why and what happened, I just wanted to let you all know that I’m typing this directly into the text box because this computer is new and I’m too tired to find the Microsoft Office CD. So, bear with me pl0x. Yep, I said plox =D.
N e way (My friend and I just had a big “fight” over why people say n e wai or n e way instead of anyway. He says thats dumb because it’s actually more work. And I just can’t have people disagreeing with me so I killed him. I mean…
Umm…
Not killed him. =D) now to start complaining about why I decided to quit.
It’s kinda hard to explain, but basicall the game really went downhill about a month ago when the greatest guild in existance (except maybe for heavenbound based on the blogs and stuff written about it) Darkness of Broa disbanded. Usually I’m not phased by things, but I swear I actually cried when that happened. I was so depressed I quit for a span of three months, but the guildleader MadTV’s (My real life friend) pestering finaly made me come back on that game I went emo over.
The first terribe shock came when I found out that in my opinion the two pwnest (yes pwnest) people had quit after me, Medgic and Hrai. They were like my idols and that really made the game go from a 7 to a 5.5 on a scale of 1-10. Ok, well I started training my cleric TwoRivers (No not the town from that book The Wheel of Time) I got really bored and made my secksy bandit, OmgshBandit. Creative name huh? Well I’m gonna skip all the little things an basically say that because of the hackers, noobs, and Naruto related Guilds and Names, I decided to quit. I spent like an hour saying bye to my wonderful friends, and about 12 of them were begging me to stay, two even threatened to quit if i left.
… Way to make me feel terribe about it. N e wai, I finally managed to get off and uninstall it. Instantly, my friend Jaime, MadTV from before, im’d me and said that those two people had actually quit because of me. That really crushed me even more.
So… is its the end of the world? I think not. But… It’s the end of my Maple career, thats kinda like the world right?
RIGHT?
Ok well bye, I’m trying to find other games to play. I’ll still be blogging here, so everone keep up the great work. These stories that are coming out really impress me.

Aww, it’s sad that you quit when you have so many friends who will miss you. That’s the only reason I actually play to begin with. If they all left, my maple existence would mean nothing.

I did the exact same thing and never came back for three months. One day I just randomly thought about it and decided to get on for once, to find that most of my friends were happy to see me and my guild welcomed me back with open arms. I’ve played ever since <3
