Let’s Talk About Shemales etc.

Some people create accounts of the opposite gender and there are a few viewpoints to it. It’s just what some people (on the asiasoft forum) say that piss me off and thus I’m ranting here.

People may create characters of the opposite gender but what does this mean? Is this a bad sign?

There are a few situations I’ve seen

Situation A:
Female: I created a male character as I have too many male characters.

I find this alright as usually females are harassed online with s3xist remarks etc.

This does not mean the following:
The girl is a l3s
The girl is mentally deluded

How bout situation 2 when a male creates a female character

Male: I just want to try

I find this completely alright.

You can see your character in two ways:

1. A representation of yourself

or

2. A “pet” of yours

Thus there is nothing wrong with adoring this “pet” and putting it the opposite gender.

But when people use this “pet” for sick purposes is when they go over the line.

In situation 3, I’ll talk about a friend of mine in Aquilla, geok****, lv 117 priest.

One day, my best friend, who had access to his account which is a female character, logged on to Geokster, he got a pm.

“Hey baby, it’s me.”

My friend immediately logged off and confronted the owner.

Apparently, this friend of mine, uses his character’s gender to take advantage of other 1ustful male characters thus gain items.

So, when you see a person creating a character of the opposite gender, you have no right to go:

“OMG!!! Pervert/LEcher/Sissy!!!” or any h0m0phobic remarks but please do not seek and yearn for online love. You may fall into one of these fake females’, which can be called wh0r3s due to theor actions, traps.

So yeah… rant finished, wow, you actually read this?!

  1. yeah, i read it. and i agree. people who make characters to take advantage of other people are despicable.

  2. Oooo >< I have a friend of mine who is a girl but acts as a boy, has a wife and son in maple, she acts pretty good, gone quite far in terms of levels, and still keeps her gender secret,

But then, she and her wife/son in maple are quite loving in a sense, and the thought of her dates with her maple wife makes me go, EEEEEeeeEw, you should go become an actor or something, But she doesn’t ask anything of her maple family, nor the other way round. SO in her case it’s quite alright.

  3. I understand what you mean.

My friends, after they see a picture of me and compare it to my Maple character, always say, “Why did you make your character pale and with long hair, when you’re tan and have short hair in real Life?”
Well, I’m allowed to be someone I’m not on the internet. I’m allowed to be the person I want to be.

But as you said, the third group is the worst.
I have a friend who goes onto Maple Story and I know him in real Life.
Kind big, kinda chubby. Speaks in slurs. Used to be on the football team.
And what do you know? There he goes and signs on, his typical dialogue going,

“Heeeey guys~! <3 How are you~? Hee hee!
Oh wow, I reeaally need some new stars~~~
You have some for me? Thank you soooo much! Mwah! <3″

    . . .
    It’s disgusting.

    . . .Yeah.

  4. I think having w/e gender char you wnat is ok but I think its kind of wierd.
But some people say having a [insert gender here] is better but I disagree.

    Pro/COns:

Males pros: You don’t get harrassed
    males cons: equips cost more

    female pros: cheaper equips
    female cons: get harrased

  5. I play my bro’s cleric occasionally. And guess what gender muwhaha is?
My bro uses my accounts to create mules. Guess what gender I am?

XD Gender confusion abounds, my friends.

And sometimes, it is the ‘lustful’ male characters’ fault themselves that they are willing to throw their virtual moolah and items at a picture of a few pixels in hopes of getting . . . *cough* adoration. Besides, on a bad day when you are in a bad mood, a ‘be mi gf pl0x’ can really make you snap. I wouldn’t mind taking some of their stuff; all the more virtual moolah and items for me. But then again, I wouldn’t lead them on either.

  6. Shrugs really. . . Why every Maple char has to be a reflection of yourself escapes me. And those people who give em stuff are the idiotic ones. Lets borrow from the Endangered ANimals slogan.

“When the giving stops, the mooching can too.”

    Simple. nae?

  7. oOo lol i haven’t really met someone like that. .
gender stuff doesnt really REALLY matter for me
but ill prolly get confused >.<
oh wellz lol, and to be a girl to take advantage of someone. . really no one should be doing that
it’s just. . wrong >.> and those kinds of people are the people who will have no future whatsoever in marrying someone. .
not like they really want to marry anyone that is
but then again >.> different points of views~
    ~Ta-ta~~

  8. Well I dont play maple anymore but I play Gunz (but not right now because it wants to be an asswipe by not working) people use girl characters not to pervert themselves but as a tactic. Girl characters in Gunz are easier to Butterfly (att and def at the same time, creating a butterfly effect) plus girls are harder to shoot at, so yeah. . . . .

Hahaha no offense but I have to laugh at that xP. . . .

  10. Interesting subject never before discussed here(at least I never saw it before).

Basically, I never try to go for a gf on an online game, since I never truly know anyone no matter how good of friends I am with them.

I already have an rl gf anyway.

People who create opposite genders for perverted purposes are absolutely sick. They should never be allowed to play Maple Story.
