My first day back on MS lasted 7 hours. My second lasted 9 hours, and came with little sleep.

You can just imagine how happy I am to be back.

After months upon months of being gone, I haven’t lost my touch. My bandit ShadowViperX is as strong as ever and then some. In fact, I managed to pull off a feat I’ve never accomplished before. The title says it all; On my first two days of mapling, I gained two levels each day. Considering I’m in the mid-to-high forties, that takes quite a while. In fact, if it wasn’t for the 2x XP event going on for MS’s 2nd birthday, it wouldn’t have happened. Of course, that isn’t the only reason.

Another reason was the monsters I fought. After checking guides and going over which mons are the most fun to fight, I’m sticking with block golems and their kingly cousins. They give suprisingly good xp(especially during 2x), and extremely good monies. Though infrequent, you do get a good drop or two from them, and the king blockers are top notch to fight if you’re looking for black crystal ore.

Also, I made a new friend, which was awesome, since about 18 of my last 20 buddies seem to be nonexistent. He’s a spearman just under one level ahead of me. He was really nice and cool to train with, and he got me in with an excellent pq party. We got in four pqs in a row on Sunday night! Last night, I didn’t get as many pqs, but I did get a very good reward once: a red dagger scroll!XD I’m saving it for my future shinkita.

One bad note: for the first time in ages, I died. It happened while training for lv 47 against the giant walking legos. It sucked, but I didn’t despair.

Actually, make that two: it seems the rumors I’ve heard are true, as I am unable to play MapleSEA, despite successfully installing it last night. Thus, I can’t play with many of my fellow mmotalers yet. Still, I’ll leave it on, for hope that it’ll change one day.

Overall, the MS reunion was an absolute blast, and I am so glad to be back on the game once again. In fact, as long a shot as this may seem, I’m hoping that by the end of the summer, I make it up to lv 70 with my third job. Banditness made chiefy! There’s a sweet thought!
