It’s another weekend at home, back with my long-missed Maple Story. And have I got an update for you!

I HAVE A NEW DAGGER!!!

(in case you somehow manage to miss the titeXD)

It happened so fast and easily, I couldn’t believe my sense of sight!

It happened earlier today, while I was training so desperately to finally get to lv 78(which probably won’t happen). Ever since I got the game on my compy, I finished two Mu Lung quests, each giving over 38k xp combined, before, after checking out what I had available, decided to train on the straw and wooden target-laden bouncing scarecrows east of town(yes, i know, I KNOW I’M CHEAP you don’t have to remind me, but it actually works pretty well. They deal virtually no damage, and from getting home ’till now, I’ve gotten from 19% to 52%. Leave me alone you naysayers!)

At the time, I had my Deadly Fin. It was doing well for me overall, but in all honesty, after I got to lv 77, that thing sucked a LONG time ago.

So, I’m set on overgrind, SBing my way to xp, when a ranger comes along and trains with me. At first, I was worried he’d be a kser, what with how fast he was going. Freakin bowmen have it so easy.>_<

Then, all of a sudden, he asks me, “want a kandine?”

My eyes lit up. Someone actually HAS a KANDINE! And it ISN’T a bandit! Even my guildies never had one!

So with a profound yes, I get the trade going. He presents it to me, and I look at it.

88, YES, EIGHTY-EIGHT ATTACK, and +FOUR LUK. This was the greatest kandine I’ve seen outside of FM.

Unfortunately, those kandines were usually (over)priced at (usually more than) 10 million mesos. Still, I figured I’d give it a try. I asked him if it would be expensive.

He says, no, I don’t care really.

Zombies on pogo sticks, we have a generous archer here! Still, I didn’t want to just grab it from him. This was an amazing offer, and I had to make it worth something to him. After all, I had no idea how long it was taking him to get rid of it. *checks wallet* 6.9 million mesos(yeah, yeah, laugh at me all you want, but I still say this game has an inflation problem). I shell out 5 mil, enough to make it at least a feasible trade, yet not so much as to where I can’t afford food and drink for trading.

One click later, THE KANDINE IS MINE! Better yet, it has 88 attack. Away with you, yon Dragon Tail! Even more better yet, I can still tack 3 more scrolls to it!

Far still even super more greater yet, my grammar sucks. XD jk

Seriously, that moment was by far the greatest moment yet in my 7X levels. Now, with my lv 80 armor still lying in wait, I won’t have to buy any more equipment for the next, like, TWENTY levels!

Well, okay, maybe cape and earrings, but those are pie. Thanks to this dagger, my training is going swimmingly, despite the fact I have to go back to school tomorrow!^_^

Speaking of which, I’ll have ch. 25 of my fanfic ready by then for certain. For now, I’ll have dinner, then keep training as much as I can. Until next time!
