Well, I leveled to 51 a few weeks ago, so ad many of you know, I can’t Ludi Pq anymore, which means all training from now on. I have been at Mushmom for a while, getting some EXP off Iron Hogs, and an ocasional scroll of Mushmom herself, but I have noticed ALOT of very rude 3rd job characters are making it a habit of comming into the map I was on for almost 40 minutes, sitting on the rope, and then KSing me at Mushmom, and if I express any disgust towards them, they actually follow me to channels, and KS me constantly, ( 1 even went as far as to follow me to Master Chronos in Ludi and continue to KS me there just because I called him mean for KSing mushmom) So after I gave up on mushmom at about 33% ,I decided I would look for a pilgrim hat, but all around Henyeses,there were hackers, hackres and more hackers. Some were doing the stationary hack, where they kill monsters from 1 spot, and in all Levels of HHG, there were item vacers with auto looters on. I was fine with this because they were only getting snail shells, but when me and a couple of level 50+s started a KS war at Green Mushrooms, I found my first panlid ever, but I had a full inventory. I went to drop somthing on a Hay Stack and it instantly got VACed over to one of the hackers, then I ran towards the Panlid, and that got sucked in too. after being pretty mad, I continued, and about 2 hours later while training noobs, another one dropped, and i actually got this one. But after I picked it up, I started getting defamed by all 5 noobs in my party because they said it was theirs. So I loged of for the night and went to sleep. I woke up this morning and for some reason, after all the negative things that had happened, I really didn’t feel like playing maple story. So.. I don’ t know if it was the hackers, the KS ing 3rd job jerks, the noobs, or the level grinding, (which is getting old since I get like .01% for every kill), but it made me think, why do people have to make a game that can already get boring, even worse by hacking it, or being inmature little brats about it….

Maple Story is getting worst these days. And Wizet does little to stop them. It is up to us to report them and get them banned. And hope Wizet doesn’t bring em back again!
One problem, Especially in Broa, the GMs are really inactive, so even if you report a person 100 times, nothing happens.
I used to have a screenshot of a very, very rude sin saying, “lol i hav been reported for harasment 300+ times, dey wil never ban me!” You’d think that if you were a sin, you’d try even harder to be polite, to break the stereotype. *sigh* Guess not.
Anyway, the point is, I’m not sure if reporting for harassment ever actually has an impact unless a GM personally sees someone being wildly inappropriate. The community on MapleStory seems to get worse every time I play. Hackers shouting at you to CC, people running around calling each other names, KSers who pass through your map, kill a few things, get a drop that should have been yours, and laugh at you about it. Even the mostly mature friends I have seem to do nothing but brag about drops, mesos, and how fast they level these days. Is it the fact that it’s a free game, or the way the game itself was built? I guess I’ll never know.
But, I guess the old faithful scapegoat expression works here: It’s a free game, what do you expect?
