Something I thought…

First of all, this is to all you story writers who started your stories earlier.

You guys take up the stage, so no one else these days can write a story and get someones feedback. They are all reading only one person’s stories. They are so hooked to your stories, that they are unwilling to try other people’s ideas. I’m not sayng much, but this is irritating, spending time thinking of something, only to be ignored and writing for yourself.

-W/e, just a thought, after making a few attempts….-

  1. ahhhh that’s what i thought but as people write i developed but i found that no one no longer liked my stories so i decided to quit writing
edit:but there also is the fact that i didnt do as well

  2. Well, they have their own reputation and their fans respect it. But I don’t think the people of MMOT are that close-minded. I’m sure most of the better readers will be willing to try new things and good things; AnbuNinja’s Maple Academy, for one, has gained so much popularity that it’s even surpassed Aaru’s and Mip’s amount of likes on a single chapter. So I don’t think your point about people being unwilling to try new things is valid, though I do agree that people do get shunted aside in favour of these ‘popular’ writers simply because they aren’t popular. . . yet.

  3. I understand how you feel, but if you’re gonna write stories just for the popularity and glamour it’s not gonna take you far. It’s better to write for your own enjoyment. When I started posting my stories on this site, I would be lucky to get a couple likes and maybe a comment every now and then. Still have trouble getting people to comment/like, but I don’t care, I just write for my own enjoyment. As long as you just keep writing, eventually more awareness will be raised about your story, especially by word of mouth. It doesn’t hurt if you comment and post on the forums every now and then too.
