My Adventures, as Talen the Thief-chp 7

Hey, I was out all morning and afternoon so, here’s my blog.

Hope you like it.

I was shocked by their proposal and was too much in pain to realise they had already left me to my thinking.

A few days later, they bound my hands tightly and led me into the depths of the snowfields, where I was first seen my Talen, the love of my life. Memories came flooding back to me as the guild leader had weaker guild members spread out and clear the path for the rest of the guild.

Me [in thought]: This is where I first let Talen see me. This is where he rescued me. This is where I ran from him.

At first, they pulled me along, holding the rope binding my hands tightly. But after a while, they relaxed and just let me walk by myself. We walked and walked until we came to the cave in the side of a mountain. The cave was deep red in colour and flamingly hot. When we entered the humungous cave mouth, I noticed something. The cave was full of lava, it was a volcano, despite its surroundings. The guild leader had the members that protected them before rest, and stronger hermits, chief bandits, priests, dragon knights, rangers and many more 3rd job people had to lead the way from then on. At first, the only monster in sight was Cerebus. I exhaled slightly. They weren’t so bad. Then after almost an hour of just walking and walking, the guild stopped for the night. They let me rest with my hands unbound. I rubbed on my wrists all night as they hurt and looked close to bleeding. The next morning I asked them if I could go unbound.

Me: Can I just walk? You bind my hands too tight, they’re almost bleeding.

They just looked at me and looked away again. I thought my last effort to remain unbound had failed but surprisingly, no one came to tie me up.

We travelled all day and nearing the end of the next day, the first hints of there being bains showed themselves. I became more afraid now, because a fireball from a bain could easily kill me. As a safety precaution, I used magic guard. When I was casting it, all of the guild guards around me took aim with their weapons, but when they saw I was only using magic guard, they lowered their arms. We travelled for days and days before we even got close to the Zakum party quest area with “the guard to the zakum temple”. Travel was slow because I had to be protected. And my feet were in pain and torture from the endless walking on scorching, hot ground and in such heat, the body can sweat a lot. By the end of the week, my moonlight was sticky, smelly and dirty. After the week passed, they came to me with a change of cloths, a red sauna robe.

Guild leader: Change into this, and we’ll wash your moonlight.
Me: How? There’s all of you around…am I supposed to change in front of you?
Guild leader: No

He clicked his fingers and a few men came forward carrying a screen-cover. They game me the robe and enclosed me in the screen.

Guild leader: Knock on the screen three times when you’re done.
Me: Ok

After I changed into the red sauna robe, I knocked on the screen three times just like the guild leader said. The screen slowly moved away, to reveal that they were all sitting on the ledge watching thieves, archers and magicians kill the bains.

After a time, I was returned my moonlight, clean and smell-free. The same procedure occurred and then, when we all finally reached “the guard to the zakum temple” for Zakum party quest, the leader took:

•Himself
•Me
•Strongest dragon knight
•Strongest hermit
•Strongest chief bandit
•Strongest fighter

into his party. We entered after they forced a party wristband on me and disposed of the one Talen gave me. I was crestfallen. That was one thing he had left me before he saved me. I was teleported into the party quest unwillingly and transported around by the leader himself. we cleared all the stages fairly quickly until finally, we were at Zakum stage.

The leader jumped up to “the guard of the zakum temple” and talks to him.

Guild leader: You can summon zaku-

He was interrupted by a string of two ilbis protruding from his back. Someone was in the dark corner. I looked up, straining to see. His dark identity gave it away, I think. It was Talen. He was crouching in an offhand manner. He looked so powerful.

All of the guild members then gasped and most of them headed towards Talen to kill him. Talen calmly hasted himself and flash jumped over the crowd and next to the dead guild leader. Talen easily cast his shadow partner skill and in a flash, launched two lucky sevens. After each lucky seven reached a guild member, he or she was almost instantly killed. Talen just kept launching his skill. After each and every member of the guild had fallen, he flash jumped to me. There were tears in my eyes. And then, as if hell had descended upon earth, a mighty roar echoed through the room, shaking the ledged and ground.

Zakum was summoned…

  1. Maybe the guild leader was a hunter? Or did I miss what he was, I’ll have to re-read.

    Keep em coming, Talen. ^^
