Well now that’s out of the way…let’s start the story that’s been ignored for 4 weeks.

Chapter 7 ~ Demon Wings
We finally reached Orbis after that battle. All the fairies on board thanked us and
hurried on to look for their friends. Instead of walking, the fairies flew. They’re
were more fairies in Orbis too. They all had wings. I grew jealous of them. I
always wanted to fly, but I’m just a human. Athena suggested we should heal
my wounds before looking for Jane the Alchemist.

We were at the highest point of Orbis. The view was great. I saw many fairies
flew and talked with the fairies from Ellnia, happy they arrived safely to Orbis.
As I was drinking a highly concentrated white potion and Athena was wrapping
my wounds with bandages, I stared at all of the fairies wings. There were red,
white, and yellow colors. Raeken told me that diffrent colored wings mean
diffrent powers. The red ones used vicious offensive summoning magics to
fight enemies and the White ones used protective summoning magics to defend
themselves and Orbis, while the Yellow ones don’t have any special talents,
but still can use summoning magic.

When Athena was done mending my wounds, I asked how we would get down.
We would have to jump down a big distance…and probaly die to get down.
She told me that all of the flying buildings had a teleporting magic in it. Since
you can’t use summoning magic to put magic in objects, they had Ellnia
fairies to put some of their teleporting powers in them so we can teleport
up and down. Wow…I had lots to learn. I felt like a dumbo. But how the heck
can a 12 year old boy know this stuff anyway?

I wanted to just take my time absorbing all the stuff I learned from Raeken
and Athena…but I never had the chance because there was so many
things I wanted to know. So many things…I ended up forgetting most
of the things they told me. There was one thing I didn’t forget. I asked them
is there a way for humans to get wings. Raeken and Athena both answered,
only if you’re a fairie….or a demon.

For some reason, after I asked that question, Athena stared at me often,
worried. I grew worried too…but I forgot about her staring at me when
we finally found Jane.

~ Dialogue ~
Jane: You must be Athena, Raeken, and…uh…
Me: Don’t mind me, just call me “boy” if you want.
Jane: Ok…anyway Grendel told me you were coming.
Me: How did he tell you?
Jane: Veteran mages can talk to people in distant places
using their minds.
Me: Cool!
Raeken: This isn’t why we’re here. We need a summoning
rock and a magic rock.
Jane: Yeah I know the reason why. I can make a summoning
rock with some materials…but I cannot make a magic rock.
Athena: Why not?
Jane: Well…magic rocks have been exctinct for a long time.
I heard only a few are left in this world…let alone this
continent.
Althena: Oh…[so much for the scrolled work glove, I thought
getting a magic rock would be a cinch.]
Raeken: Well…what materials do we need to make
a summoning rock?
Jane: 1 pheonix blood, 1 mil, and…
Me, Athena, Raeken: 1 mil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jane: Yeah…making a summoning rock is very hard.
You can make a scrolled work glove with a magic rock with it.
Athena: Tell me about it.
Raeken: What’s the last material.
Jane: ….Well…a demon wing.
Me: You mean a balrog wing, cause we killed some.
Jane: No…balrogs are monsters, they may be
deadly, but they’re not demons.
Raeken: That’s as hard as getting a magic rock then!
Jane: Well…no demon wing…no summoning rock.

After that conversation, we asked everyone how we could
get a demon wings. None of them knew. Though one
knew how to get pheonix blood. Pheonix Blood wasn’t
really blood from a pheonix. It was just rare and expensive
wine. The man who knew how to get it told us it was
in a town named Zipangu. All this is my fault I thought.
If I hadn’t just changed my job to a thief, none of this
would of happened. Athena said that she would of
been sold for 500 mil or more and every other city
would be weak with no money. Raeken always wanted to go on
a long journey. So he didn’t mind at all. Orbis isn’t really related
with Victoria Island except with Ellnia, so they all think Athena
is just going on a vacation of some sort.

Some gang lords in Zipangu have lots of money…and we
decided to resort to stealing from them. They took lives and stole
from people. It’s only fair to steal what they stole.
Besides, once we get both rocks, we could erase the Zipangu
lord’s memory and everyone else’s who knows Athena has been
kidnapped. But then we might not be able to find the magic rock.
We decided to find the magic rock first before going to Zipangu.
Raeken decided to go to El Nath and ask an ancient sage
named Alvis. He should know where the rock is.

With some of the money Raeken had and Athena received, we
bought more arrows, more potions, and headed to Orbis
Tower. The Orbis Tower had 20 floors filled with sentinels,
fire sentinels, ice senitinels, leattys and more. I used my
arrows and shot them down, while using the speed of a thief,
I avoided all of the monster’s attack. Athena told me I had
inhuman speed, but I just thought I was fast. Athena then
had a worried face again even when Raeken and herself
was slaughtering all the monsters with ease.

When we finally reached the bottom of the tower, we decided to take
a break before we head to El Nath. Then suddenly, a dark figure was
behind Raeken. The man stabbed Raeken and then moved on Athena.
But Athena couldn’t be that helpless. She shot at the figure a dozen
times using her Arrow Rain and Arrow Bomb. They hit the figure, but
it appeared it didn’t even lay at scratch on it. Eventually, Athena
fell. I realized the man was a thief using Dark Sight…not just any
thief…It was the Dark Lord. I lunged at him with my inhuman speed.
He dodged. I pursued him. My speed was equally matched with his, but
I was still a boy. I grew tired and he lunged at me and punched me
hard in the stomach. I fainted.

I woke up, pain in every part of my body, espcially my stomach. My arms were sealed,
and my legs were stiff. The Dark Lord put a seal on me. I thought he killed me,
but I was alive. Raeken and Athena were still breathing, but unconicous.

~ Dialogue ~
Dark Lord: So you’ve woken up.
Me: ……………….
Dark Lord: Don’t talk, I need to talk to you.
Dark Lord: There’s something I want from you. Something
special…something…inhuman.
Me: Speed is the only thing that I got that’s inhuman.
Dark Lord: No…this inhuman thing is why you’re
so fast.
Me: What…?
Dark Lord: What I want is your soul…your demonic soul.
Me: Demonic…what are you talking about!
Dark Lord: Your dad and Athena already know.
Me: Know…what?
Dark Lord: ……………
Me: WHAT!!!!!!!!!
Dark Lord: You’re half demon. You have demon blood
flowing in your veins.
Me: WHAT!!!!!!!!! That isn’t true! I’m no demon!
Dark Lord: It is…I just want to tell you this before
I rip out your soul from your body.
Me: Why didn’t you rip it out when I was still
at Kerning City?
Dark Lord: I don’t like killing kids. But If i get this
demonic soul and put it in my body, I will gain
demonic strength. I was thinking whether to this
or not.
Me: …………………..
Dark Lord: I’ve finally decided…and I’m here
now to take it. It’s in your body somewhere…and I’ll find it!
Me: …urgh…urghhh….urrghhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!

I felt a surge of power in my body. The surge of power was
so strong, Dark Lord was pushed away from me. The snow
was melting all around me…the nearby penguins and leattys,
all died. There was enormous power in my body. My eyes grew
red, their were strange tattos over my body. When I thought
It couldn’t get worse…the worse happened.

Wings…Demon Wings…grew from my back. I finally had my wish. I had
wings…but I wasn’t happy…not one bit. The Dark Lord stared
at me…grinning happily…and then retreating. I flew away
to Orbis to try to find Alvis. Hoping he could fix this problem. When I was at
the outskirts of El Nath…I fainted once more.

~ End ~
– Wierd story huh?
– Yeah I know theres no one in El Nath named Alvis…so I made it up.
– Any advice…like always is greatly appreciated.
– Thanks for reading.
– Chapter 8 will come when I get a good idea or when someone gives
me a good idea.

~ Happy Mapling and Happy MMO story telling people ~

  1. I know there were some errors in it. Like most of mine. I already corrected some of it, so I don’t want to correct anymore. Oh yeah, the last part
was a little confusing I know. To explain, the boy suddenly turned into a demon.
