New account, new game

WOW, it’s been so long since I’ve been here on MMOTales. (Just to let you know, I was Shatred.)

Maplestory shall be in the past for me, and my friend has got me hooked on Final Fantasy. *stares at stack of sheet music*

My hiatus off this site is caused by my marks (which were going downhill; i got a ‘B’ for one term of Social Studies!) and the fact that MS was simply getting too boring. NO PLOT, I screamed~ I spent my summer obsessed with doing nothing, going out to the mall for movies and pointless candy shopping (yay!) and of course, stuffing my computer up with the latest TVB (HK television) drama, ‘The Drive of Life’!

Now that the finale has been watched, I am back in a bored state I was before DOL. I can’t believe I spent hours on Fanfiction reading boring stories that were cliched beyond beyond belief. Sure, I have orchestra stuff to practise, but I still need to do something productive on my spare time!

All hail Final Fantasy!

Now, I am currently downloading FFXI off VeryCD, so I can’t exactly comment on the gameplay. What I can say is that the graphics are awesome (as with all the FF’s, but still!).

And thou shalt not ramble anything further.

Bye.

I gots a B- in Culinary Arts, but I got a 94 on my last test, so that should go up.

Andandand I got a B+ in P.E., but so does everyone else. The teacher never gives out more than an 18/20 for a day’s activities. >.>

  2. *wonders what you would do if you got a C on a subject*
I’m not a straight A student but I’m still smart, just not straight A’s

    ~LaZzz. . .

  3. My beautiful 4.0 GPA was destroyed by the evilness of PE. RAWR!

*edit* Grrrr, I have to pay for FFXI?!

A B- in CULINARY ARTS? What. The. Heck?!

Last year I had like, only one B+, the rest of my grades were A/A-, but my parents still got freakin’ pissed at me for not getting (quote) “ALL STRAIGHT A+s!” Like seriously, UGH.

Oh no thanks! D; I had a REAL hard time convincing my parents x). Ahaha. They thought I was DOOMED ’cause I didn’t get 4.0 GPA and won’t get into UC Berkeley…Psshaw. Yes I will. x) There’s no worries.

Waffle said: “I love you, liyah

    i never even considered that”

I just had to put it all out there you know?
I honestly thought I was like a dead fish in the water for awhile, but after talking to people–High school’s just a teensy part of your life that you can choose either to (not)have an impact on your life x)

  6. My parents just told me that they know I suck in PE, so I have to get a’s in everything out to even out my GPA.

I HATE PE, AND MY EBIL PE TEACHER.

  7. You can’t really suck at PE

    they grade you on participation

if you don’t dress or participate you’ll be knocked down grades

it’s not like you have to do much

    just walk even

schoolwork is 10x harder than what you do in PE

  8. Right during my few years, I got nothing but C average -_-
    You’re not lonely

EDIT: For me, heavy studying is stressful. With your parents pressing you for straight A’s and stuff, you can become too obedient.
-You can become indecisive in your decisions because you’re used to the influence of your parents in your childhood.
-There’s a chance of becoming a less cheerful person (I think) because: LOTS of stress= unhappy+ seriousness.
If you’re unhappy for a long period, it goes into your mentality and you basically press your children when they grow up. You’ll end up doing what your parents did to YOU.

Hence, pressuring parents= Brainwashing failures of yourself XDD

    I wish, Waffle.

My PE teacher tests us on skills, and I suck at anything athletic, except running,

Yah, and our teacher is very biased. Just the other day someone said, “Hey, everyone, sit down and be quiet so the teacher can take roll and we can go outside and play soccer,” and our teacher just went ballistic on him. He yelled at him and made him the teacher, while he went to the office and started talking to people leaving us to be. We went outside and ran a lap around the track, then went over to the practice field to play soccer. Supposedly we were supposed to play in the main football field, but people started moving stuff to the practice field because some guy was repainting the field, and we didn’t want to be a nuisance. We played for the period, and eventually our teacher came by and watched us until class was done. The kid asked how he did teaching, and the teacher said, “Oh, you did terrible. You get a 0 for the day,” and then he got on his case for moving the soccer balls, jerseys, and cones over to the practice field (a field half the size of the regular field for the largest class); two things about that: 1.) like I said, it was being repainted and 2.) some girls in our class were the ones who started doing it, so it wasn’t even the kid’s idea anyway. The teacher made him take the cones back, and wouldn’t give him a late pass (but he made it in time anyway). I’m surprised our teacher didn’t get on his case because later that day a few soccer balls were deflated by the freshmen doing archery. -.-

Oh, yah. Our teacher somewhats grades on participation, but it’s more of a “higher grade for more athletic peoples” kinda thing he’s got going on, unlike our teacher last year. Also, I think the girls get higher grades too. The pretty ones that is.

  12. I get graded on participation. We also have a book that tells us how “To be healthy in daily life”
so we get graded on the work out of the book >.>
    I have a A in it though.

  13. LUCKY.

We get graded in skills and participation. I swear, my PE teacher is evil. She’s infamous in my school for being EBIL!

  14. I’m on my way to failing, I am. *nods* I just need like, a few more semesters.

    Hey there, Serene.

  15. Serena! ;D Hiii there
And and and I must admit. Final Fantasy’s one sexy game ;3

HIGH SCHOOL IS YOUR LIFE! IT DETERMINES WHICH UNIVERSITY YOU’LL GET INTO, AND IF YOU’RE GOING TO WORK AT MCDONALDS WHEN YOUR 35 BECAUSE YOU PHAILED UNI!

LOL! Err, kinda. Let’s just say that not everyone’s smart [straight A’s] but that doesn’t necessarily mean that you’ll get nowhere in life. Take this classic, but true example:

There were 2 high school graduates. One with a super [Student A] high GPA of 4.8 and another with a [Student B] GPA of 2.75. Student A gets a scholarship and gets into Harvard. Student B does two years of community college and then transfers to Harvard for the last two years. They both graduate at the same time. x)

    • Student A spent oodles of money. And suffered from stress of schoolwork and exams.

    • Student B didn’t spend hardly as much and didn’t have to deal with any stress for 2 years. Plus, she technically had 2 years of college already in which she was able to explore and REALLY know what she wanted to do with her life. None of that switching majors crap. And transferring from a Junior College is a guaranteed IN into any University/College of your choice. And none of your “messed up” high school grades would even count because all the University would see are your College grades. ^-^

    • And seriously, the Student A dude–he’s a very rich guy now. Very successful and all that but he still has loans and other crap that he owes to various companies, banks, people for getting him to where he is today.

    • Student B on the other hand, having been well supported with those ‘one-on-one’ classes where you can actually see your teachers up close [Institutes like Harvard and Stanford and all the UCs in California, with the exception of UC Merced, all have stage size classes where the professors would come in, lecture, and leave. If you don’t understand, well. That’s too bad! Go ask someone ’cause the professor’s gone! D;] and interact with them and having all that background college information before stepping onto the grounds of a University like Harvard, is VERY WELL off. Nice family, no loans, nice job. ;3

And plus, all the work forces, companies and such later on in life–they REALLY don’t care where you went to school, how your high school grades were, blah blah blah. And if they DO check, they check where you graduated from. Oh lookie! Harvard! ;3 <3 Or wherever, you know?

Life doesn’t end if your high school grades are suckage. There’s SO MUCH that you can do to change that. x) So yep.
And that IS a true story by the way. I know the people. XD
