The Bad, The Good & the Outright Wei

Lets see! A lot has gone on since the fateful deleting of my former characters. That would be the bad part. i met up with a rather persistent and potentially dangerous stalker. He used my character names from my Basil ID to follow me consistently in both worlds I played and even provoked police involvement when my firewall kept warning me of hacking attempts at the same time. So after an IP, password, and complete change over there and the fated replacement of my beloved Cleric with anonymous beginners I set off on new adventures.

Not to let the whole thing get me down, I decided to try all new classes of characters this time around. So the adventure begins. First thing I did upon hitting the shores of Victoria was look up my 2 closest friends, get myself levled to 15 and form our own guild. I am guild master. Hehe

The 2-3 weeks is simply occupied with getting myself up to my 2nd job advancement. Darned if I didnt forget how much of a joy (note sarcasm) some of the lower level quests are to get done. But I did it with some help from my friends.

Now we have another week + and here I am up to a whole level 35. Woohoo! Ahhhh!*shudder* not cursed dolls agin. *Sits in corner mumbling to self*. At least there are new quests and Aqua Road hadnt come out when I bid farewell to the characters that could go there. So something new. I can honestly say life is good and I am just enjoying myself this time around. Hehe

As for the weird, that too abounds. I get a lot of strange looks (don’t have a clue why *whistles innocently*) and a few requests for my pixels to be someones GF and even a marriage proposal o.O, which I simply take in stride and laugh my head off when I tell them I am an adult. Hehe you should see them run and run fast.

I have noticed a few things this time around:

1) When you arent in a hurry and pressuring yourself to level and keep up it is so much easier to get along with people. Although there will always be those who are a pain just to be a pain.

2) Good manners go a really long way. I say a simple “I’m sorry” if I accidently KS someone and most people are really nice after they get over the initial shock of me actually being nice.

3) Someone needs to do some kind of sociology study on the people in certain areas of this game. I have noticed that in areas where there are several screens of similar monsters all the players still seem to crowd into the same first screens and vie for positions in them, even fighting with each other and starting ks wars. I simply go a couple of screens further on and it is deserted making me wonder what all the fuss is about, but ohhh well more monsters for me. Places where this holds true are (go check for yourself): The Ant Tunnels- I and sometimes II are packed but if you go to III or IV virtually deserted. Burning Lands: once again everyone goes into I and if already crowded people manically change channel instead of heading to II or III or even IV or V. and Orbis Tower Jr. Sentinel Floors- once again 6 people fighting over 20th floor and no one on 19 or 18. I don’t worry about it though they can fuss, I just move in and train in peace and quiet even with a party with me.

Last but not least for this time a short story about something that happened to me a couple of days ago: I believe I have had the honor(?) of meeting the dumbest person in Khaini. This poor guy shall remain nameless since this is for amusement and not to humiliate him. My screenshots where having a problem that day so I will have to relate this in my own words although I will remain as true as I can to what he said:

I had been training in Aqua Road upon my first trip there and was tired and getting a little grumpy, so I start to head back up the tower to go into El Nath for the night. I hit Basement I and realizing I am in no mood to face Jr. Pepe’s I turn on my Dark Sight just as I enter the ground floor of the tower and this is what happened.

I pop out the portal to see a level 35ish Fire Mage training on the Jr. Pepes and start to head for the portal. Suddenly,

Mage: Stop ksing me.

Me: F6 What?

Mage: U herd me stop ksing me!

Me: Im not ksing you, I can’t be ksing you.

Mage: Yes u are! F5 Now stop!

(Note: Im practically rolling on the floor laughing by now and stay to see what happens)

Me: Im sorry but I’m not. I cant ks you. I have my Dark Sight on I cant attack anything.

(Im just standing there doing nothing but talking, dark sight drops off, I get hit once put it back on)

Mage: U stop ksing or I’ll report U.

Me: I am really not ksing you. Do you know what ksing means?

Mage: Of course I do. Im not a noob. It means u are hitting the monsters Im alrady hitting.

Me: Ok! Do you see me hitting any monsters? Am I doing anything but standing here?

Mage: Well no! But u are a thief!

Me: What difference does that make? I still have to attack something to hit it.

Mage: Ohhh, ummm! I don’t know how but you are ksing AND I WANT YOU TO STOP!

Me: Do you know what Dark Sight is?

Mage: Ummm, sort of. It’s a thief skill so things cant hurt u, but you are still ksing me.

Me: Right, I can’t be hurt by physical attacks but when it is on I also can’t attack anything either.

Mage: Ohhhh, well, ummmm, ok so you are goin to stop ksing now.

(My Dark Sight expires again he sees this. I switch it back on without attacking)

Mage: Oh Wow! Cool! I see now!

Me: Well I need to go now. Good luck in your training. Peace. F2

(I then hit the portal and scroll into El Nath laughing so hard Im crying)

The guy gets points for being literate but I’m not sure things were clicking for him at that point in time. And he shall remain nameless due to the fact he may not have know about the skill and/or he may have just been having a rough time.

And so I am off for the night and tomorrow the fun continues……

  1. Man, this is indeed funny. And this guy is indeed a joker. Which thief can attack with Dark Sight on? o.O

  2. LMAO, that’s funny, but if it were me in that situation, I would’ve lost my patience, o.O
