How come when a person on your Buddy List quits, you don’t want the to? I mean they are just people you meet through a game. This is so confusing ><. I play for the people who I call “friends” through a game. Is it wrong for me to call them friends? arghh this is so confusing….

People have there own reasons to play like I play for the thrill of it and leveling up. I have also had freinds quit maple and that use to be one of the reasons I use to play.
Maplestory isnt just a happy video game. it has actual people in it in actual life. if u take the game out, you’ll actually be interacting with people all over the world. i had some friends quit, and it wasnt too pretty. so in my opinion its ok to call them friends. after all, theyre real people
Friends are some one who you can talk to and that you like to be with. I think your with some one in heart online not in body but this might also be better becuse you feel as if you can tell people online things you cant even tell people you know in real life.
I don’t know about other people, but I kinda treat my maple friends the same way I treat my friend in real life. Just because I’ve never seen them before doesn’t make them any less of a friend to me, I never want people to quit, >.< It’s so sad, I once spent 2 hours trying to convince a certain DK not to retire(he was lvl 9x and bored of MS) and he wasn’t even my friend, Yes, it may be an online game, but as you lvl, hunt,explore and do all sorts of things with people, they grow to be your friends. I’m so close with some of my maple friends that I wish I knew them in real life, I know that one of the main reasons I play is because of my maple friends, afterall, it’s “your story”, ;D
