I’m playing during the 2x Exp event and I’m killing wild boars, which I found out I can one shot kill using Lucky Seven so I’m doing really good. I’m worked out a little area in Land of the Wild Boars to fight in and I’ve just got a small crappy spot for about thirty minutes.

Then I notice the person with the good spot is gone so I move up there and fight for another 20 minutes up there and everything is going great. Then some person comes along and moves straight into the middle of my spot and says “This is my area, don’t kill these”. Now it always bugs me when I’m moving through an area and people start spamming “CC Plz” before you’ve even done anything. Earlier that day I was fighting guys and someone fell from above and started throwing lightning all over the place killing all the stuff I was fighting then got mad at me for KS’ing her.

I try not to do these types of things but this guy just bothered me as he tried to claim the area for him, just by saying “It’s mine now”. So I told him that I had the area for 20 minutes uncontested. He calls me names and takes off.

A few minutes later here comes a level 57 assassin who just starts tearing the area up and I’m thinking it’s just one of the normal jerks who think that they can come in and take an area just because they are stronger so I keep fighting for the area. Then I notice that the area above is clear and is full of enemies so I figure I’ll just hang out up there and let this guy have the bottom area.

However, he follows me up there and proceeds to kill all the stuff. I asked him if he was following me around but he never said a word, just kept fighting and fighting. I finally got tired of it so I reported him for harrassment and then decided to see how many other people I could get to join in.

So I wanderd around the whole area, never really fighting but moving around so he would keep fighting and he started KS’ing all the people who were around me. Unfortunately none of them got mad and started saying things so I ended up heading back up to a ledge where I figured I’d just heal up for a while, while I chatted with my buddies.

As I thought he was KS’ing me in particular and after seeing that I was just standing there doing nothing he disappeared leaving me alone again. I think MS needs some way to handle KS’ers as the GM’s are not around enough to be able to stop it and those type of people only listen when someone forces them to listen.

I’ve got an idea on how a system that could be developed that would stop it from getting really bad and I think it would fit in pretty well with the way the game currently works but I’ll leave writing about that for another day as it still needs some thought.
