MY WORST FEAR

Stealthily, I quickly double-clicked the icon. The GameGuard, taking a while to boot up, made more beads of sweat drop down my head. Turning black, the computer screen soon displayed the main page. I hastily turned around to make sure he wasn’t watching me, and gave a sigh of relief. Whew! Suddenly, the computer gave a whistling sound that pierced my ears and shut down.

Feeling the presence of someone behind me, I hesitated. Turning around, I saw the person I feared holding the plug and cords of the computer, separate in each hand.

“Didn’t think you would get away, would you?”

I frowned. “BUT DAD! I JUST WANTED TO PLAY A FEW MINUTES!”

“SHUT UP!” he roared.

Dam it, so close! I just needed to double-click my character and I could’ve gotten away! The more I thought about it, the more I got madder and more outraged as the belt come rushing towards me as I heard the evil, menacing, despicable laughs of that hell-driven guy.

  1. I have my computer in my room, so I don’t have to deal with that, except for the fact that they might come in. I just alt+tab out when I hear their footsteps, it freaks me out like shiet.

  2. Since i paid for my pc with my own mesos, my mum (live with her) cant do anything. Luckily she cant tell the difference between a Ram Stick and Power Button, so she couldnt do that me if she wanted

    My dad doest really play games, and doesnt play online games.

    He downloaded it (thats a start) and hopefully should start playing it soon, been on his pc for months allready XD

    No offence, but it sounds like you were pretty mad when you wrote this. Take some time, cool down, and just breath deep. Besides, even if you logged in, wouldn’t he still have shut it down?

  7. Woah, AznXknife, you’re just like me. I partially close my door, so that my parents don’t see me playing when they come around the corner, but sometimes, my mum’s really sneaky and walks really quietly. I don’t hear her footsteps until they’re right outside my room. I alt-tab, and when my mum comes in, i’m just staring at a black screen, than my homework pops up. And she’s like “why’d you have to change the screen” in chinese.

    SOOOOOOOOO, they installed cybersitter, (which me and my sis soon found out the password for) but maple is still blocked, even if I disable cybersitter. Yea.

  8. Psh, I get up at night to play lah. I guessed my dads pw! The only hint was “bir” So i was thinkin, WHAT THE HELL DOES “bir” mean? so i realized it was my dads birthday.

    My mother thinks it causes World War III, global warming and the subsequent death of all humans. Its accomplices are MSN, and any other screen with colours and pictuers on it.
    She locks the modem and all, to stop me from playing. So yeah. ^^;

    But see, if she hadn’t done that, I would have done far far FAR worse for my Major MAJOR Exams, and I guess, for that, I’m resentfully grateful. :X
