7 Days Ago – Chapter 4

Are you waiting for this?
I bet you are!
I want a cookie. D:

Finding Sanctuary

Everyone stood their ground, weapons, stars and wands ready to strike. The Taurospears marched forward relentlessly, each of them smirking. Hah, six puny humans trying to fight a whole platoon of Taurospears?! What a JOKE! Caine thought to himself, letting out a snort of laughter and continued marching calmly towards the humans.

“On THREE!” Fiona commanded, hands holding on to the bow and arrows. “One…” Ris raised his voice. “Two…” Leonard cried out, arms grasping on his sword’s hilt. “THREE! MUFFINS, ATTACK!” Grace screamed out with childish innocence. The Taurospears raised their electric blue spears, getting ready for a strike.

Ris loaded his Claw with inhumane speed, cocking the Claw upwards, he went for a strike. Ris ran UP the walls of the cavern, using his Claw as a form of climbing hook, and let his grip go. What happened next was in split seconds, Ris fell in a ninja-like fashion, flinging his Claw and letting loose a string of sharp, pointy stars at the Tauren.

29 Taurospears left.

Fiona fired her arrows four by four, it was as if it was raining, but with arrows as raindrops. It was a bloody sight to behold, Tauren were assailed with arrows and blood flowed freely like a river. She let loose another string of arrows that hit their targets square on the chest, nothing could stop the huntress.

Leonard gripped his sword tightly as he ran towards a charging Taurospear. The sword bursted into flames just as he raised it above his head, ready to strike. The Taurospear was caught in surprise as the sound of flaming metal and bone crashing together rung through its ears. The Taurospear fell onto its knees immediately, but another one took its place. Leonard lifted his sword for another blow.

23 Taurospears left.

James swung his spear over his head in a circular fashion, fending off the mass of blows coming from the attacking Taurospears. He muttered some ancient words of Perion under his breath and a purple circle filled with symbols and hieroglyphs appeared on the ground with James standing on the center. A flash of blue light later, all the attacking Taurospears fell limp on their sides.

Grace fended off the Taurospears with her holy arrows, while munching on a particularly juicy apple. Each of the arrows hit the raging bull-humans right in the head, apparently it caused them to go berserk and kill one of their comrade. The priestess continued firing her infinite amount of holy arrows, still munching on that particularly juicy apple.

17 Taurospears left.

Clement was reloading his crossbows when a Taurospear charged up to him and raised its electric blue spear, aiming for Clement’s sniper skull. He looked up, at the middle of reloading his crossbows. “Sod off, cow!” Clement screamed in exasperation, waiting for his time to come.
