BannedStory adventures. o_O YAY IT’S MAPLE HAVEN’T SEEN IT FOR MONTHS! (Which means I’m sort of back my reg ms is broken)

Anyways, I decided to mess with BannedStory today for the first time I’M INCLUDING PICTURES WITH THIS BLOG PLEASE COMMENT ON THEM! I’M NOOB AT BANNEDSTORY!

Dialogue: link. THe official home of BannedStory. Go to downloads page, blah blah blah…
Follow instructions, start downloading base file. 30 MINUTES LATER, I finally get to download the patch and program files.
10 more minutes later.
OMGWTH my computer is too slow, but anyways, I try to open BannedStory.

Message: Data done. Thumbnails could not be found.

Note to self: YOU ARE A N00B SKYRYD3R. READ THE DARN INSTRUCTIONS!

Go back to BannedStory homesite and read the manual…
Must install a ZIP-file extracter in order to make BannedStory work. GEEZ LOUIS HOW MUCH SUFFERING DO I HAVE TO GO THROUGH??? (I’m very impatient)

After installing Winrar (A ZIP-file extractor program), follow the instructions, make a separate folder for BS somewhere else on my drive, start extracting the files.

20 MINUTES LATER. Finally the base file of BS is extracted and I move it. Now I gotta do it for the four program files…
20 MORE MINUTES LATER. Followed all the instructions, now click on BannedStory…

“Windows needs to restart to install the new updates (or something like that). Would you like to restart it now?”
Tempted to click Restart Later! Cursor wanders over to the Restart Later button…

DAD: RESTART IT NOW, IT’S GOOD FOR THE COMPUTER

D’OH!
10 Minutes later, I open up the BannedStory and pray that it works
Message: “Data Done. Thumbnails Done” (BannedStory loads)

HALLELUJAH! ONLY AN HOUR AND A HALF WASTED! F5 F5 F5
