[TuT] Story making.

TuT means tutorial, its used in big-boy forums unlike basil and this site.

Now, because stories on this site are all crap, I’m ganna tell you how to… nvm, im just ganna post my opinion.

Don’t swear in your f*cking f*ck g*y stories unless its f*cking nessisary you dumb f*cking sh*ts. God. It doesnt make you cool.

Grammar. Use it. I know (dot dot dot) turns into , (which is uber dumb) but deal with it.

Dont have endless lines of chat. They don’t stand there swaying while they talk like in MS -_-

Describe. Please.

Nothing like the following:
‘blah blah blah’ said the bad story maker, with his arms up in the air.

its just lame and makes you look like you’re in grade 6.

with that said: 6th graders shouldnt make their stories public. For the love of god.

teh phlaims!! bring it on! i usually get flamed when I make a good point -_-

I hate people on MS, 90% are stuck up noobs who dont actually know what noob means. by 90% i forgot another 9%.

I also hate pie. why? cuz everyone else likes it. Or says they do. why do they? cuz they have no friends.

    Yes,sir!

  2. ok SirSolo lets get one thing straight. My stories are not crap! waa *goes emo*
    ok o.o
now I got that out of the way.
Why can’t stories have curse words? I think its kind of dumb if they don’t. I mean stories should kind of have real people. And come one most of us probably curse alot. I mean it isn’t like some kid movie on Disney Channel or something (although some movies on disney channel are ok). No matter where you go some one will curse. Even if you wipe every single curse word from every single person’s memory. But you do a point. Too much dialogue kills a story. It’s not like this is an anime where you can use as much dialogue as you want because people can use thier eyes to see the character’s activities. ANyway its late. Have schol. No more type>,<

  3. Hmm, Well the reason no one uses good grammar is probably because they have no time. Then again, I do all the things (well, most of them) and no one bothers to read or at least comment on them. I would like to here other people’s opinions of my stories, i don’t care for that “i liked it button” that’s just another thing taken for granted.

  4. Well, maybe all the stories YOU read are crap. Why don’t you check out Indescane’s, SilverFx’s, Munky’s or Tarheel’s. I assure you, those are top quality stories, and why don’t you compare them with your tips? I’m sure you’ll find that not a single one of those stories has bad grammer, describes things in a bland way or swear (excessively anyway; I can’t remember if any of them swear in the first place!). And chatting is good, I would hate to read a story just describing everything without any dialogue in it.

  5. my hopes of writing are already dashed, verbose.
not by him,but by being ignored.

  7. Okay, let’s pick this apart.

No. 1. What the holy name of spiffiszle does grammar have to do with ellipses? In blogs, the ‘dot dot dot’ as you call them stay the same, as well. They don’t change into commas. That’s only in posts. But Grammar and Punctuation, which is where Ellipses fall under, are completely different things. I believe to be taken seriously you should work on your own punctuation too. e_e

No. 2. I understand your point about endless lines of chat, so that’s okay. I think the point sirsolo is trying to make is if it is in pure script form, with the actions in asterisks. Which, I know, is pissant.

No. 3. Drop that comment about sixth graders nao. Some of them are really good. I have a friend who was writing full-fledged and completely awesome stories when she was in Grade 6. Admittedly, some suck. But that is a gross generalization, and therefore weakens your point.

No. 4. Oh puh-lease. Stop emo-ing about the crappy Maple community. Not that many suck; some are just ignorant of netiquette and if enlightened will gladly apologise and stop. It’s just that the bad experiences stand out more vividly than the good.

No. 5. Pie is sexy. I have friends and I like pie. Admittedly I like cookies more, but pie is quite cool too.

No. 6. [TuT] Big-boy forums? You know, that just makes you sound a) sexist, b) stupid. BIG BOY. Gawd, let’s just not go there. >>; And anyway, I have been on some pretty big-league forums, especially art and graphic ones where you IMAGINE that little tag would be rampant, but no. It isn’t. So evidently it’s not as common as you think.

Now looking back, I only gave you that Like because I skimmed your blog. . .that’ll teach me to skim blogs and mindlessly click the button in future. <_<
