Pleumon Ep 1-3

Yet another old story I made. This one was supposedly more a book then a story. Had a different feel. I don’t think Im going to continue this one.

Episode 1

The lights were bright, very old, but still very bright. Yet I couldn’t look away, I wasn’t allowed to. I was tied to the chair incase of attempted escape. But I wouldn’t be doing that, I was already too tired from the previous nights ‘activities.’ I had been caught, much before I wished to be, but caught none the less.
The room, or what I saw of it through the light was dark, walls made of stone, mold spreading in the corners, giving it a greenish glow; it was small too.. The door, centered on the wall to my right was made of heavy iron. These doors, compared to the rest of the room, looked brand new. I sat in a wooden chair, and there was a plastic desk in front of me, which held the light, so carelessly pointed into my face. My hands were professionally tied behind my back with rough rope. I was assuming that there was a chair opposite of me, though I couldn’t get a glimpse of it, because of the light. I was stripped of everything unnecessary or dangerous. For me at the time, it was mostly dangerous. I was left in my business suit, and my trousers, but missing a belt of course. The door creaked open, and in stepped, I’m guessing, a man. He casually walked in, and sat in the chair opposite of me. I decided to close my eyes, since there wasn’t much left to see either way. He got right to the point.

“Why’d you do it Mike, if I may call you that”
“That’s not a very polite way of starting a conversation, even if I am tied up, who are you?” I asked back, with a cocky attitude. I don’t usually get to the point. Not this time… not just yet, I needed to buy time. “Who I am doesn’t matter, this is about you. Why did you infiltrate their headquarters?” ‘They’ were the current political and corporate leaders of earth. Not technically, there was the council, and they were the political leaders. But the council was made up of humans, and manipulate humans was what they did best. They are called Terra. They supply oxygen in the barren wasteland of Earth. But they didn’t start with supplying oxygen. They were a military company, they created weapons and bombs, small arms, vehicles, you name it. The ‘Pleumon’ system was originally used for space travel. They were personal sized and ran almost on nothing. They created a revolution with Pleumon, but also one with their weaponry. They combined the two in such a way, that it ensured the Pleumon would become the most important item on earth. They manipulated governments into starting wars with innocent countries, killing billions, destroying cities, and the air and earth with it. Earth became a wasteland. Terra built airlock domes around major cities, keeping air in, and the uncontrolled amount of other gases out, as they were no longer breathable. The entire face of the world changed, space became obsolete, crops couldn’t grow, water was limited, and again, billions died. Many new viruses came out, Terra, miraculously had a cure for all, but not right away. They seamed like the good guys. But I found the truth. The truth unbearable to live with. I changed, just like the world, into a different state, a state much worst then it originally was. But with this state, I will let the truth slip out. I will hear its cries in the streets, I will ensure it. This is my story, and the story of the terrestrial cover-up.

This is the truth

Episode 2

The sad truth is that I once worked for Terra; I helped in designing the weapons. But, with that job came a lot of knowledge that would help me in the future, or, past in this case. Terra started out with small arms, when they still had their previous name: Glyph Co. Their efficient sleek small arms sold quickly for all armies with a Special Ops unit, or if sufficient funding was met, the armies themselves used the weapons. Terra eventually evolved into explosives using everything from Cala remote mines, to Subsonic Thermal-locking Cruise Missiles (STCM). These STCMs would play a big role in the destruction of earth. The user could input a coordinate range anything from a person, to a city. Then the STCMs would go to that coordinate and head for the heat source. A specific heat source range could be input, but that wasn’t usually necessary. The missiles were usually used for random attacks on the nation itself. Terra took yet another leap and turned the STCMs nuclear by equipping a nuclear warhead into the center. This sadly doubled their selling production rate. The human race didn’t stand a chance. They invented Pleumon when an interest in space spread through the world. This amazing personal fitted air filter could turn the toxic gasses of space into breathable air, enabling humans to travel into space. But what propelled them there? Engines designed by Glyph of course. This is when they changed their name to ‘Terra’. Terra controlled space travel and weaponry, the two main technologies of Earth at the time. They basically controlled the evolution of mankind into the future and nobody stopped them. Some tried, through companies, but were mercilessly crushed by Terra, the superior manufacturer. They put a cap on ideas and imaginations of the people. They grew, from Kerning to Ellinia. From Ellinia to Ossyria. Even the scientists on Ossyria were tricked into believing their lies on how the world would evolve with the help and funding of Terra. And thus, this left one continent left to fall.

Ludibrium.

I wouldn’t answer the man. If he doesn’t know what I know, it would be a waste of breath. I would continue the illusion of me being a bystander, a puppet by a greater force, and I wouldn’t give him anything. But, not giving up, he asked again, “Why did you go in there? Why did you kill all those people?” I knew how to answer this to create more questions. It was explained in one word. “Revenge” This was only partly true. Revenge was only my selfishness in the issue. I wanted to tell the man the truths he was blind to. I wanted everyone to know. But it wasn’t the time for it. Not yet.

“Revenge. for what?” He asked, being the nice, intelligent interrogator he is.

“For the people THEY killed, for the buildings THEY crushed, for myself, for everyone.” I replied confidently.

“You’re not alone in this? Who’s everyone? You mean the peoples of the earth?” He asked a little faster, trying to suck out information. It didn’t matter. ‘Everyone’ would arrive soon.

And as if answering my thoughts, they came just in time.

Note: I would like to give a special thanks to my editor, FallenAngei for taking time out from him playing MapleStory to help me not look like a fool over the internet with my hasty writing. Episode 3

The concrete room started shaking. The man panicked and ran out the door, searching for the cause or possible for help. The light, previously shined in my face, toppled over onto the ground. I couldn’t get a look at the man, because of his hasty exit. Quite frankly, I didn’t care of what he looked like. It didn’t matter; I was leaving. The door to my left burst open in a shower of debris, sending rocks flying, and covering the room with dust. A silhouette of a humanoid briskly walked forward to the iron door, closed it, and began to weld it shut. Two more people walked in, towards me this time. One started to untie me, the other opened my eyelid and started to examine my pupils with a penlight. The rope fell to the floor, and I got up with some help from the man. I was incredibly disoriented from the initial shock wave, and the penlight didn’t help either. They walked me into the opening, and the one that was welding soon followed. We dropped down a slight dirt slope, and continued down the corridor. I noticed triangular tan colored forms on the ceiling. They were Cala mines, this tunnel would soon be sealed, erasing its existence. While we walked I was fitted with a personal Pleumon.

We were going to the outside; they wouldn’t dare look for us there. I always admired how the Ludibrium Intermuniciple Newfound Elnath Alliance and Rebellion (LINEAR) worked so efficiently. Once they escorted me out onto the blackened sunless earth, the leader took a small cylinder from his belt. He flipped a see-through cap, and pressed a red button. The mountainside we exited shook as a huge shudder went through it. The dirt caved into the opening, sealing it. As the last rocks tumbled onto the abandoned plain, I eased up.

I knew I had disappeared.

NOTE: Yeah this ones short, but knowing how many people are actually ganna LOOK at it, it doesnt matter. I could be writting about how I’m giving away my account to whoever PMs me first and you wouldn’t know (Unless you read it and if you did, Im not actually giving away my account.)

Well, thats pretty much most of my stories in a nutshell. Might continue GoS and Antagonist. Might not.
