Hey! Today was my first day in the really kewl MMORPG FLyFF ^^

I started with creating an account on the official website [www.gpotato.flyff.com] and downloading the game. After waiting the two hours it took (wich I spent surfing around looking for info about FlyFF) I installed the game and then spent another 30 minutes patching the game. Once I finally got in the game everything went good; I logged onto my account, selected a server (I chose Aibatt) and started creating my character. Siron.

Completing the character , I entered the game and was immediatly struck by the massive ammount of windows that were open, and on such a small screen xD I guess I should stop playing in 800×600 in window mode and go fullscreen instead… [Picture] I pressed my way through some of the guide tips, realized nothing really usefull was to be found and closed that + some other random windows. Whew, better. The first person I saw ws a guy named Choppa, and my first thought was ofcourse “Chopper!” (if you haven’t read/seen One Piece then do so now ^^) So, I alt-clicked him (wich I had learned from the crappy guide! :D), and selected “Add to my list”, wich would add him to my friends. First he didn’t accept the request, but after spamming the “Add to my list” option a couple of times he appeared as an online friend xD I still haven’t talked to him yet, but heck… Chopper is Chopper.

I ran around in the city for a while, tried to buy a lollipop from a girl named Losha, realized I didn’t have any money and went to kill some Aibatts (server name and monster name = the same o_O), wich I had been told were exellent newbie monsters. Suddenly the text “Skill point is increased” popped up, I pressed the square that came up but didn’t change anything in fear of doing something that would prove useless.

Some monsters later the text “Level Up!!” popped up instead and I was allowed to distrubute 2 stat points (Yay!). I put both of them into Dex. Speed ftw, and I would be able to redistrubute my stat points once I reached lvl 15. The stats I would choose then was a problem for the faraway future.

I kept the killing going for some time, reached lvl 3 and decided it was time for a new weapon. So: back to town, and since I didn’t notice the bridge I took the underwater way [Picture] On my way I came to the beauty shop, so I decided to check out if there was any better looking harcut available. There wasn’t, and I didn’t have enough money to change anything anyway. [Picture] Then arriving at the weapon shop I was 3 penya too short to get the sword I wanted. Only one thing I could do: sell my suit. Happy, naked, and possessing a new sword, I climbed up on the roof and took a neat screenshot.

Back to killing, after a while an Aibatt (wich btw died really fast b/c of my new sweet sword) dropped a thing called Twinkle Stone. I wasn’t able to equip or use it in any way, so I just saved it ’till later. You never know what you’ll need. The mob after that dropped a suit. Haha! No more nakedness for me (Fangirls: Noes! D: ) After a lot of more kills, several skill points more and reaching level 4, I decided it was time to go kill a new monster. Running around for a while I foud moushroom looking monsters called Mushpang. How original.

Today wasn’t just my first day in FlyFF, it was also my first character, my first friend, my first conversation, my first skill point, my first level, my first new sword, my first drop, my first quit, my first time on MMO Tales and my first time pressing the “Submit” button. Tomorrow might be another day of Firsts-
