Should i have a spear or a pole arm?
Please tell be the pros and cons, and why you think i should be one or the other in your posts.

People are going to tell you to forum this, but I would say Polearm, simply because polearm scrolls are cheap. XD

Iono, I’m going to have mastery over Polearm and Spear. ^^ Sacrificing booster or something. That 1.5build thingo. *gestures vaguely in the direction of Basil*
1) Hybrid is for relatively rich people who can afford the spears, the polearms, and their scrolls.
2) Hybrids level slower from 30-70 due to a lack of FA in their skill build.
3) You’d rarely get into situations where changing weapons to use buster/ fury provides a much better advantage.
Aside from hard facts, buster is more useful imo as you’d rarely find 6+ monsters clustered together for effective fury usage. And buster definitely kills faster when encountering the usual mobs (e.g. MG, sotong, death teddies).
And buster animation wins.
So I’d recommend spear over polearm.
