Passion’s Soul: Rest Break Between Acts

Author’s Note:

Zomgbugergod, I’m finally writing this again. ‘Cept this time around, no angst stuff. ^_^
Laklyn will be more me, haha. For once >.>

Laklyn: You little idiot, I am you.
Shatred: I can control you, buhahahaha.
Laklyn: You can try, but I won’t guarantee anything, missy.
*puts gag on Laklyn*

So sorry for that little interruption. My story writing skills have gone FAR down the drain, so this chapter will be crap. Trust me, I’m the one who wrote it.

Et tu, Brutus? Then fall Caeser.

Gawd, I love being random.

Laklyn slowly regained consciousness as she felt a pair of hands holding her. The cold glass of a potion bottle came in contact with her lip as she opened her eyes. A dark shape coaxed her into drinking the content of the bottle. Blushing slightly in the dark, she accepted the bottle and moved away from the figure, sitting upright on the pavement.

“Thanks,” she muttered softly.

The figure showed no sign of replying, simply dropping a letter and vanishing. Laklyn smiled as she read the letter in the dim light and stroked the communicator. She had a guild.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Over the Guild Communicator
Loreak: Okay people, time for a guild event.
Laklyn: Aw shucks, what now?
Chiemal: C’mon Lake, it can’t be worse than last time.
Katlyn: Well no duh, last time was the worst. Can’t get any worse than that, right?
Loreak: Gah, all of you, stop bickering –
Laklyn: Get to the point.
Loreak: I’m TRYING, but you guys keep on interrupting.
Katlyn: It’s not our fault the last guild event was chaotic. Like, who else would drag the whole guild to “attempt” to fight Zakum?
Laklyn: Owned.
Loreak: All of you, stfu. Okay, let’s have a quiz show thing. Someone offers a prize for getting the answer right.
Star: This is going to be lameee.
Smiling slightly at the ridiculous conversation, Laklyn turned the communicator off and switched to her music files. She popped on the headphones and turned the music on to the extreme.
This is the life.
Suddenly, a faint buzzing shocked her back into reality. Laklyn’s phone was buzzing, and it wasn’t going to continue to for much longer. Sighing, she vigorously stuffed her earphones in her Red China Top pocket. Laklyn pressed a button and Cosimo’s face appeared in the tiny screen.
“Hey,” he said, “You up for a wedding?”
“Sh*t, you’re getting married?” Laklyn raised an eyebrow.
“Yeah,” Cosimo said sarcastically, “I’m a run-away lover boy who is thirteen
“Chill, who’s wedding is it then?”
“Artemis and Artemis.” (Ha, I love this line. <3)
A big boom sounded on Laklyn’s end as she fell off her chair. “What the hell?”
“Hey, don’t ask me.” With that, Cosimo ended the connection.
Artemis and Artemis… she thought. Shaking her head, she continued training.
