These days. . .

This is part rant, part weapons, part levelling, and part good experience, so I just grouped it in ‘General’. It’s a summary of what I’ve been doing on MS these last few days.

Part 1: Not a day for PQing.

Last Monday was not my day. Right after logging in, I got invited, but they expelled me right away. You can imagine how this made me feel. So I hang around channel 1 awhile, spamming “Lvl 42 xbowman joining pq!” I’m not a fan of @s, you see. So after about 20 minutes, I get into a party. I get them a stage 8 track, and the leader. . . misses! T_T
I get them ANOTHER track. This one is EMPTY. Up to crack. Then the inside party’s leader dies or something, because they all come out. What do you know- they beat us in. That’s two.
We finally get in, after about 3 tracks and 30 minutes. Then guess what. The leader dies because his dark sight ran out in stage 5. WTH! We rush and miss. I resort to training on ratz for the rest of the day.

Part 2: Level 43 whoopie!

The next day I get into a PQ successfully without a miss. You can imagine how that felt after yesterday. Anyway, this was a farm PQ. I couldn’t care less because it was 4 in the morning (don’t ask) and finding good parties was difficult. Besides, I get a larger share of exp from lower levels =D
We PQ like 10 times in a row and I level to 43! I have a 73 att maple crossbow waiting for me ^^ Now I can hit 1200+ with one hit. I love the damage.

Part 3: Not as hard as I thought. . .

Next day I join yet another farm PQ. I am pleased because, as I found out yesterday, farming is actually just as fast as boss for experience, and less pot-consuming. I just don’t get the prizes.
At stage 4, I find out what a pushover the mage portal is when I kill it in less than 30 seconds.
At stage 7, our party completely destroys the rombots. I am impressed by this level 40- party. The leader suggests we do boss; I say okay; the others say they’ll miss. I decide to attempt solo. The others, except the leader, think I’m crazy. He agrees with me.
After finishing stage 8, I take a cleric to the boss. I eat a warrior pill and speed pill and hotkeyed my holy water and eyedrops. When Alishar starts to summon chronos, we start having a hard time. The platoons overwhelmed us by sheer numbers. But the cleric and I eventually clear enough to attack Alishar again. The boss starts summoning master chronos. Someone in stage 8 informs us that another member lagged out. I pay little attention; I am busy fighting. My soul arrow runs out. I have no time to cast it. When I think I’m going to get overwhelmed by master chronos, Alishar falls.
After calling in the rest of the party and finishing off the last of the chronos, we clear the stage and go to bonus. I find an above average skull earring ^^
This victory cost us both a lot of pots. But it was worth it. Not only for the prize. For the satisfaction of successfully single handedly defeating Alishar.

  1. lmao, his dark sight ran out? How the hell. You have to refresh it every five seconds to get another box anyways. That makes no sense XD

  2. Nah, it wasn’t 4 in the morning for me, it was 4 in the morning for another guy in the party. His exact words: “dude, it’s 4 in the morning, we get who we can get”.

I know, but that’s what he said. o_O

  4. My first pq was disastrous too. There was a lvl 44 hunter, lvl 44 cleric(me), and 4 lvl 30+ mages and rogues.
At stage 8, the hunter gtg and logged off, At Alishar, 2mages die.
The rougues were hitting insignificant dmg on Alishar, e.g. 20,60 and sometimes they miss.
I was the only one with some decent dmg.
killed Alishar in about25 min with only 3 min left.
I burned 112 mana elixers, but defeating ALishar was sastifying.
