The Black Eyed Peas made a song called “Where’s the Love?” a while back ago. I was listening to it one day
while playing maple and I realized how much pain and violence the world has. It’s even crawled into maple, a game
that may have some faults but aimed to be a fun game.

There are Maplers who curse in every sentence they say. They don’t hesitate to curse at someone they don’t even know.
Now that Nexon has introduced kids ages 10 and up, these players twist the minds of these ignorant kids.
Usually being immature, these kids build up a tough image of themselves whereas in real life, they’re kids who’re just starting 5th or 6th grade.

“Wrong information always shown by the media
Negative images is the main criteria
Infecting the young minds faster than bacteria
Kids wanna act like what they see in the cinema”

There are people who have this idiotic urge just to hurt someone in Maple. Racism being one among many attacks that these people use. I don’t understand why these people choose to be such socially isolated people who try to grab attention by hurting other people.

“But if you only have love for your own race
Then you only leave space to discriminate
And to discriminate only generates hate
And when you hate then you’re bound to get irate”

There are Maplers who are power hungry. They show off their damage and ks people who simply want to level and have fun. It’s just a game and it’s so hard not to get frustrated to see how these people hide behind their own characters and pretend to sound like a pro.

Whatever happened to the fairness in equality
Instead in spreading love we spreading animosity
Lack of understanding, leading lives away from unity”

But even in Maplestory, even in the world, there are people who stand up to what’s wrong and help those below. Im glad I found friends who care and aren’t ignorant of pain people feel. As long as such people exist, Maplestory will be my game.
