Oakstory…Never heard of it?

So, your all experts in this game called ‘MapleStory’.

But did you know that MapleStory isn’t the original game?

What are you talking about? You may ask. I will tell you.

Yes, through painstaking research, I have finally found the evidence for a prequel to Maple.
It is called:

OAKSTORY

There are differences, as shown below.

There are 8 jobs, not 4.

Maplestory:
Warrior
Magician
Bowman
Thief

OakStory:
Mage
Archer
Warrior
Thief
Monk
Paladin (Not the fourth job for Page as in Maple)

Druid

After you get a job, you get to level 30, and take the class advancement.

The top level for Maple is 200. So far.
The top level for Oakstory is 150, but no one has made it past 90.

Maplestory has 4/6 abilities, Strength, Intelligence, Dexterity, and Luck. (Hp and Mp could be counted.)
OakStory has 8. Power, Defense, Magic, Evasiveness, Speed, Accuracy, Hp and Mp.

All items from Oakstory were taken and put into Maplestory, excluding Cash Shop items.

Mage: Ellinia
Archer: Henesys
Warrior: Perion
Thief: Kerning City
Monk: Nonechos Town
Paladin: Ocavian
Cleric: Montheis
Druid: Etarte

And of course, each job specializes in certain aspects.

I have taken the liberty of compressing all my information into a convenient 8 1/2 * 11 inch paper.
I’ve even uploaded it onto Photobucket, for your eyes.
Here is the link: link

I know some of your may not believe me, but this is the truth.

Oakstory: The past and future of Maplestory!

And I’m joking.
This is my prominent MapleStory, my wish.
I made it up. Just for fun.
I just wondered, if there was 30 classes, what class would you choose out of interest?
Of course, you need the skills table. I am working on it.
Any help would be appreciated.

I made this just to spice things up around here, MMO is getting a bit dull when I’m not reading those fantastic stories.
Open to flames and ‘I likes’.

Thank you for your time.

  1. =O I would totally be a sword, axe or spear wielding paladin! *loves paladins* Or maybe a wind or ice mage. . .

  3. hmm.

Same for Red, just Hp, not Mana.

  6. I’m gonna be gone for like 10 mins, so I can’t describe jobs right now. Thank you for your patience.

  7. Needle Archer sounds like ‘Sins. >.> Only with needles. You can’t be an Archer if you don’t use a bow of sorts. xD

I’d love Dark Clerics. Then all my dreams about Priests gone over to the dark side would come true! 😀

  8. Oh, my bad.
Needle archers use a special bow to shoot the needles.
I didn’t mention it, my bad.
