My MapleStory – Part II

[h]The Revolution[/h]
After being tired of playing as a girl, I began a guy character. This character would reflect myself and not a false image. My real life friend was proud of me starting a guy character, and so was I. This character could finally resemble who I am.

[h]The Name[/h]
When I quit ‘iBlackRose’, I had a thing for the anime franchise, “.hack”. I had an idea in mind of being something similar to a Twin Blade, the companion to BlackRose, Kite. I tried ‘TwinBlade’ and anything that could resemble it. Unfortunately, I could never find a usable IGN. I recalled the anime/manga called “King of Bandits, Jing”. This title holds more meaning to me than probably to you. This name meant dedication. If I were to be king of Bandits in Maple, I would have to pursue it with every determination I had. The title is what made my character today.

Of course, I tried to name it ‘BanditJing’, but it didn’t work. Intertwining with my preferences with this new character, I had attributes of a Twin Blade from ‘.hack’, using daggers, and the reference to “King of Bandits, Jing”. Now, I planned to push my goal even farther, and shoot for level 80 and above. With these attributes and goals in mind, ‘PirateJing’ was born.

[h]The Alliance[/h]
I had a guild under iBlackRose before PirateJing was born. It was called Pirates. It wasn’t so big yet and I believe it had 15 or 20 members at the time; I can’t entirely recall. My first main friends were ’00Berry00′ and ‘KingCor’. KingCor had made a new character from his Hunter, ‘PrinceCor’. We called him Cor for short. Cor and I began around the same level, and did pretty much everything together. There was nothing we didn’t do apart. 00Berry00, of course, we called him Berry, was a higher level than Cor and I. Berry was never really in the picture yet. Another player in my guild was a girl I knew in real life. Her name she went by was “meeIon”. And she made a Bandit with me. The capiltal i resembles her first character, ‘meelon’. The trio, Cor, Meelon, and I, all leveled together, Party Quested, trained, and hunted together. Though Meelon held a busy life, she slowly drifted away from the picture.

[h]The Advancement[/h]
Soon enough, I became a level 30 Bandit, something I’ve never achieved before. This was my fourth character ever to reach second Job. Eventually, Cor followed behind and became an Assassin. The month of May came along and here began essentially the start of the loss of a friend. Cor got grounded from playing on MapleStory because of his bad grades in school. He was out for two-four weeks as I progressed without him. Unfortunately, my grades suffered as well. When I hit level 35, it was the same exact level I left my Cleric in Broa, ‘VanilIa’, and my Fighter, ‘iBlackRose’. This was a curse I must overcome. And when I hit 36, levels began to fly by.

  1. Interesting, albeit.

This reminds me of my first Beran. I had a group of 3 friends, and we were, inseperable.

  2. lol, it reminds me of the past life I used to lead on a firemage.
I had a friend there. she was also a firemage. lesser level than me though.
I knew her in real life, because she attended the same school as me.
I remember how I used to spend all of my time with her during the summer.
    until I moved to california.
    I miss the summer.
    and I miss her.

    T_T

The fact that I had never played as a guy character like before, this was finally something I could call me. I am proud that I moved on from accepting who I am, and what I’m not.
