Since level 40 I’ve been trying to increase my damage as much as possible. Getting the best luck equips, using drake bloods and warrior pills, even going as far as buying AP resetters in the cash shop just to raise my luck by 2 points. Though through all this time, I had never once tried truely scrolling any of my equips. It’s true that I had scrolled my own Korean fan, but I had used 5 100% scrolls on it. I don’t count 100% scrolls as true scrolling (the Kfan came out 62 attack btw).

I’m now level 51 of this writing, and hadn’t ever truely scrolled anything until just a few days ago. I had just started training on Drakes down at Drake’s Hunting Ground. Since I go by the rule of, “2hk or train on something else” I started using warrior pills while training on Drakes since I could only 3hk them. Even with the pills, I still 3hk’d 40% of the time. I was losing money at drakes as well. Things wern’t looking too good, especially if I wanted to keep trying to get higher damage.

One day when I signed on, I was commanded to come to Free Market and help my friend Chris find a spot in room 1. We immidately found a good spot. In fact, it was right in front of the door. The shop there had 2 items left up for sale: a Vaulter 2000, and a 10% scroll for shoe speed. Both added up to a total of 400k. I bought them so my friend could set up his shop there. Unfortunately, someone was quicker in setting up their shop and got the godly spot first. We then saw a shop with only 3 items left a few stores down: 3 60% scrolls for cape luck. Each was for 1.3mil as well. I told Chris that I was planning on scrolling my icarus anyway and he got into position to steal the spot. I bought the three scrolls and Chris got his spot, while I got my scrolls.

I then went back to channel 14 and walked to Chris’s “Lucky Scrolling spot” as he had scrolled some of his best equips in this spot. A few of these included a 12 dex Black snowshoe, a 10 attack workglove, an 11 luck Speed icarus, and even his 77 attack and 9 luck Maple Wagner.

I sat in the spot and prayed that his luck would soon be mine. My heart was pounding. I was nevous about truely scrolling my first item. Especially since I had used all of my money buying those scrolls. If these scrolls failed, I was screwed. I braced myself for failure and one by one dragged the scrolls to the cape without watching the bottom of the screen…

I looked down… oh.my.GOD. ALL THREE SCROLLS HAD WORKED! I was so happy that I almost wet my pants. I now had a 6 luck with 2 slots left avoid icarus. I had wanted to scroll an avoid to have the perfect thief cape. I was on the right track so far, but I still needed two more scrolls. One problem though, I had used all my money on those last three scrolls.

After an hour or so of Price checking other capes, I decided to sell my icarus for 6mil. To make a long story short, it sold within half an hour.

A day later, I went looking through Free Market for a good work glove to buy with my newly aquired 6mil. I found a 6 attack WG in room 9 going for only 4.5 mil. I bought it on the spot. So I had basicly made 4mil out of this whole venture. 2mil from the cape (I had 4.4mil at the start of this) and 2mil from the wg (when I looked else where, all the 6es were going for 6mil).

Now all I need is a better fan and I’ll be set for the 5xes.
