Some people say we should fight hackers with hackers.
Others say reporting is pointless, useless, and we’ve come to a point of no return.
I say to you, NO! NEVER!
Not until MapleStory is officially HackerStory shall I ever give up, and neither should you! Legits need to form a strong resistance against hackers. No one should be against reporting, or afraid to do so. Fighting hackers with hacking is the most pointless approach I have ever heard thought up – chances are, you’ll get banned while the “actual” hacker remains in-game.
I don’t know about the rest of you, but I don’t want to spend another day SEARCHING FOR A CLEAN CHANNEL among the Gardens, or in the Subway, or anywhere else in the game.
No one is really AFRAID to report, it’s just that. . . well, hoestly, GM’s don’t give a monkeys FlipFlop. . .

Still, hackers accomplish nothing by hacking. Sure they get to a high level but what next? All the fun is gone if you don’t play the game. I say, let ’em screw themselves.

By screwing themselves, they are also screwing us. By just reporting them and ignoring them, we’re letting that channel/area off. It’s like Seppuku.
And Seppuku is wrong in itself.
By using hacks, you go to their level. By giving up, youy saying that you would rather press the glowing QUIT button then try to save Maple. Sure, GM’s don’t respond all the time, heck they barely respond. But what happened to the time where the blue letters came up, banning 10-20 people at a time? I recall a whole monitor screen full of Megas praising the GMs, now we turn our back.
No one is afraid to press report, it just seems useless. And the fact that you can only report once a day doesn’t make up for the 10’s of hackers you see everywhere.
Just keep calm and keep reporting, take an ss and send it in if you must. I know how it feels to be helpless, I got KS-ed by 2 hackers in one map, and they ignored me while trying to find a good area.

I know what you mean, but, some hackers are nice and they let you leech exp off of them, i do it all the time i got like 60% in 5 minutes on my lvl 26 thief
