Why yes, the title is meant to be a satire. Why, you ask? Not sure, exactly. Just rather disappointed in Broa, I suppose.

Oh Broa, my fair Broa, how I shan’t miss thee when I am gone, someday.

If you hadn’t gathered that I’m a Broan, you know now, at least. I’m not going to lie, I like MapleStory…sort of, but I liked it a lot more back when it was, well…fun. I remember training in my tree dungeons in my early 2x to platoon chronos around 5x. I never really PQed, though when I did, it was always with friends, and I must say, I rather enjoyed doing that…even if I didn’t know how to do it. How I miss those times, but I fret not, for I am much welcoming the new times, in its own way.

There’s a joke that spans across all of the GMS servers, and that’s the fact that Broa’s made out to be the worst server/world of them all-And you know what? I agree, almost whole-heartedly. Granted, Broa can’t be thaaaaat bad…well maybe. I’m not sure. I’m biased, since I’m a Broan.

From the lush landscapes of our post-genesis to the paradises in the sky of to the desolate, snow covered wastelands to the city that sits on top of the aquatic underworld to the jollies of talking pandas to the agrarian culture folk society to the jollies of our beloved Legoland and misplaced space time continuum, I can’t help but wonder why in all these fun lands, it’s in fact, the people that make these places little or no fun at all.

Whether it be from lazy people asking you to train them or for mesos to people that don’t know what literacy is to the people who like to spam for no reason (even though it’s not CAPSLOCK FRIDAY, of which I still don’t do that) to the people asking/selling/buying girlfriends or boyfriends (essentially someone to give them attention, because don’t you know? Affection can be bought and found like that. It’s not like it’s superficial or anything. What were you thinking? Sheesh.) in the oso notorious smegas (which I cherish so much, as everyone does, right?) to the people who try to sell/trade accounts/mesos for other things to people who try to pass off junk as godly items and sell it to you for ridiculous prices in what is the FM monoply to priests who think they’re cool for trying to ks you with level crap SR to the i/ls using their per-ranged IS or the f/p who mists your enitre squid or sharks map to the dexless hermits who think they’re cool for wearing sauna robes and having high damage to the extremely cool CBs who blow up the occasional goby house in your channel to the bandwagoner rangers and snipers that go low str and think they’re better than you because they can solo when you know for a fact that they don’t because they have to SP to feel good about themselves-It’s all of the people like them that really make MapleStory fun, you know? I can’t get enough of it. I’m sure there’s many kinds of people I left out, and if you were able to read that all the way through then may I personally give you a virtual handshake.

So you all know, I’m a ranger-one of Broa’s few remaining original rangers before the anonymous Maple Homestead Act was actuated aka the Bandwagoner Movement. I like being a ranger. And while this may be true, I see little point in training. Frankly, I’d like 4th job. Not so much excited for it, as I am wanting something new to do. Is it sad that I’m making a second to-be ranger for kicks and giggles? I think so, but then again, what do I know? Yet again, I’m biased.

As I was training this second to-be ranger, I faced yet again the unattractive face of incompetence. First off, might I ask why every1 haz 2 tok lyk dis? Rly, i jus dun ged it. Lyk y? itz hardur 2 tok lyk dis den 2 tok normul, dun u think? Saying that, I know I make grammatical errors here and there, but for the most part, and most importantly, I’m literate…which is something that is can’t say for 90% of Broans, it seems. It’s like when I hop on Halo 3 or Gears of War and hear broken english being spoken by some offensive European people who talk smack in the PreGame Lobby because my peripheral hearing pick up the few english curse words they know. Then obviously we win, and they throw a fit and start screaming into the microphone, and you have to end up muting them, because the illiteracy just hurts. It really does.

I know, I get distracted easily. I have fake HDADHD. For those that don’t know, that’s me having fake Attention Deficit Hyper Disorder in High Definition. I get sidetracked a lot. Ah well. Anyways, back onto topic. As I was training him at HHG (He’s still very nub, yes, I know.), things were fine for about 10 minutes with the occasional illiterate guy walking in asking people for mesos or train him, but then this hermit walks in and starts FJing around the map using Avenger and SP hitting his whopping 6k damage on a mushroom. He must be proud. As Fate would have it, I leveled up to level 15. Yay me. The first thing I did was not equip my new archer fedora of sorts and new equipment. Rather, I defamed him, and he had the audacity to ask why with his illiterate english. I blame myself, for I should’ve known he wouldn’t know what horendous means. Ah well. He yelled at me for a couple minutes, cursing and what not, or at least attempting to, but then told me he didn’t care about fame and that I was nub. That made me laugh a little bit.

“Thieves can’t be choosers.”, I suppose. I still find it funny that hermits need a Summoning Rock to throw 4 stars while rangers need but a bow and some arrows to (I would hope most people would have Soul Arrow by now though). Yay Ranger Pride.

I’m not exactly sure why I’m writing this…most likely because my next exam isn’t for an hour and a half.

On a side note, might I thank the kind, welcoming people who replied to my not able to be private blog. F2 People seem so nice here. F6 It’s strange-Not like the kind of people I meet/see on Maple most days.

I had something else I wanted to say or talk about, but I forgot. Ah well.

In spite of all of this, I’m still a happy Broan, not because of Broa though. I’m always as happy as can be in this melodramatic, yellow journalistic, facade of an actual society. Always am.

Anyways, I should be off now. I have an exam to cram for. Don’t really need to, but I’m still extremely bored. Yay exams. Later.
