Like half the kids at my school play Runescape. It doesn’t sound too interesting. When I first heard of Maplestory it sounded so awesome. When I first heard of Runescape I was thinking, Maplestory is way better 😛

of course maple is better, runescape is pretty boring, after i tried it on my friends account. BUT, its not ur single opinion that counts -_-wat counts is how many pplz like it and even though i dont like it, a lotta others do and u cant do anything about that

1. The reason members get better stuff is because it’s a sales plan, and the money isn’t realy much at all. A new PC game costs $50 USD, which is About 8 months of Runescape if you use paybyphone (supereasy) and it lasts about 16 times longer (and compared to WoW it’s about 2 and a half times less)
2. Recently they announce a new free players addition to the game is on the way this month, and as for the amount of quests added to games, Runescape got at least 6 quests in the past 6 months a new skill, 2 new games, lots of new armor, about 15 new servers, and various cosmetic upgrades. Maple got was a new new area. (Omega Sector)
3. Graphics are made *entirely* differently for Runescape. The faces aren’t made to be the focus of the attention in Runescape, the various quests/skills/games combined with the player interaction is what makes the Runescape experience a complete one.
4. I can’t remember Maple ever getting an “upgrade” unless you consider an update to be an upgrade. If that’s the case, Runescape gets about 4 times as many. If you mean a full upgrade, Runescape got a total revamp just a few years ago that changed the game’s overall experience.
You can present Runescape any way you like, but people will never actualy know until they try. Keep talking about how great Maple is, because it truly is a nice game, however, next time you wish to bash on a game, do your homework.

Quoting on old thread, but maple story got 3rd jobs and guilds, as well as the valentine / easter events in the last 6 months. My memory isn’t too good, but I’m pretty sure we got ludi within the last 6 months too. Not to mention a lot of new quests. Seems like a lot of stuff to me. People say that runescape costing 5$ is bad because they compare it to maplestory, which they see as both free and more fun. Also, if a game’s graphics is bad, it just isn’t appealing to look at. Comparing to what you said about Runescape’s updates, we have gotten much more than you. Runescape isn’t a completely horrible game, but I still think Maplestory is a much better MMORPG .
