Poem: The Wonders Of Night

A blanket of darkness you used to be
But after a while
you filled my heart with glee
With an Orb of Light
hung right on the top
The giant, smooth sky
so nice, i wish night would not stop
And speckled lights
also known as stars
Like diamonds
but you seem so far
The size of almonds
yet give so much light
These are the wonders
The wonders of night

I just wrote this poem, because I find it easier for me to think at night. I just find night soothing. Hope you guys enjoy ><. go ahead and flame– i guess. please rate out of 10 or tell me if it’s good or whatever

I don’t really like that part; just use plain old metaphors, not similes.
Otherwise, it’s a pretty creative poem!
