I disagreed with icy and decided to make my own blog on the subject.
Tye #1: Lazy Hackers:
These Hackers hate grinding(which 100% hate, too) so they use Hacks to gain levels faster. They’re basic hacks are:
-Bot(means they can attack without actually being there.
-ceasx(means they can attack all monsters on a map)
Some other hacks they might use is:
-auto looter(so they’ll get rich, too)
-Fly hack(for off screen hacks)
This group branches off after level 70.
Some of them conintue to hack after 3rd job. But some deicde that since 4th job isn’t out yet they should just quit while they’re ahead.
Type #2: Ebay Hackers
These Hackers are like Lazy Hackers but take it to the next level. After getting to a high level they sell theier accounts. My naming of them is stereotypical but come on. Like 99.99999924% of these kind of Hackers sell their accounts on Ebay. These Hackers branch off can come in a couple different forms.
Form 1:
-get accounts to highest level possible without getting caught
Form 2:
-philosophy is: “screw Form 1 higher levels means more cha-ching!”
Form 3:
-make accounts up to level 30. (this way who ever is buying them can pick second job.)
Form 4:
-takes request on a specific way of an account. (ex. someone wants a level 1xx Priest. they give specific details like “max HS early”)
Type #3: Bored-of-MS Hackers
These Hackers are bored of MapleStory and just want to hack. There a couple reasons.
Reaons:
-they hate GMs and want to piss them off
-they hate Maplers and want to piss them off
-just want to see what hacking is like
-can’t find any other games to play and don’t care about getting banned
They are simliar to Lazy Hackers but have no interest in the game.
Type #4: Un-experienced Hackers
This is my favorite type of Hackers. =) Nooby Hackers who can’t get hacks to work. They just download hacks, can’t get them to work, delete hacks and play legitly, and find out thier computer is infected with key-logger. Muhahah Hackers destroyed by thier own un-ableness to get hacks to work.
(P.S. if this has happened to someone not saying you’re dumb. Just saying they can’t figure out how to work hacks.)
Type #5: Smart Hackers
These Hackers are actually my favorite type of Hackers. I lied about Type #4. Don’t eat me =(. Ok these Hackers are Hacker who are smart and decide to stop.
Reasons:
-computer lags too much and decide it isn’t worth it
-gets sued by Wizet and learns lesson
-sees that hacks are bad and decide to become legit

I was first type 4, then type 3, then type 5.
I have to confess I did urge myself into hacking once.
However, I never did do it.
niiice types. I think most hackers are type 1. I like the unexperienced hackers cause they just can’t get it to work and they get pissed off and just delete them or beg. XD.
Hacking in MS seriously is going out of control. Like i was making a new char in khaini, a bandit, and dis dude in maple island was hackin and wen he saw me, he stopped. i accused him and he confessed and i was like soooooo, where u got dem hacks? and he’s like i’ll tell u if u dun report me.
i mean really how dumb is that? IMO if there was a hacker i would think that they wouldn’t give it out so they can feel special demselves and be like the few “specials” in ms or somethin like that =].
Err.
Here’s the thing: The real hackers are pretty intelligent, in that they thought of the idea for the hack, then made the script for it to work. At least I can respect their intellect.
The “hackers” you made descriptions of are “script kiddies”. They are the ones I despise, as they think they’re godly because they’re using someone else’s script.
Hacking really destroys the point of the game. The game’s called MapleSTORY for a reason.
Uhh. . . This has just triggered an unsettling memory. I remember reading on the internet recently about some expert MS hacker teaching some hackers how to do the packet edit. . .
Packet edit? That’s illegal!
I swear, it is. You can be put into jail for it.
The thing is, hackers are advancing every day. They no longer have to be vulnerable with CSEAX locking them in one place.
Now with *hack classified* they can hit every monster on screen and still be able to move around.
They can spot whose legit and who is a hacker.
Now, they can even impersonate GMs.
This list is going to increase rapidly and exponentially.
