Hidden Treacheries
Kenji was greeted by Zero, who was skilled at the very darkest arts of using stars and daggers. He was only sent out on the most important missions. Zero’s blonde hair contrasted with his dark navy uniform. As Kenji and Zero walked along the corridor to Nero’s office, they talked.

“We had disturbing news today. Loki came running in being trailed by Doric who is the infamous member of the Bloodhrëi guild. He came in, with gashes on his left leg which lay limp. He also had a nasty scar running down from his neck to his stomach. He was bleeding heavily from the wounds and had barely enough breath to inform us on what he discovered before he fainted” informed Zero.

“He is now currently in our emergency section of our headquarters and we fear he will not make it. Skilled doctors told us of his very critical condition. He has reported all the information he could gain from the Bloodhrëi’s headquarters which was a very dangerous operation. He successfully got out with a document filled with very important details on what will happen in the next two days. The rest is for Nero to tell you”

Kenji nodded understandingly. If Loki had gone, it would feel as if a small part of his body had withered away and died. Loki was Kenji’s friend in training for this very crucial job. Although Loki was better at sneaking in and out, Kenji was more skilled in the stealth and escape jobs.

Kenji knocked loudly on Nero’s office and they both entered. Nero motioned for Kenji and Zero to sit. They sat there silently looking at each other. Nero was the first to speak.

“It is a sore loss, if we do lose Loki. We have discovered the Bloodhrëi’s new plans, although Loki’s probably death was a horrible price to pay. It seems the Bloodhrëi have been planning carefully for the following days on attacks at our Headquarters which they probably discovered because we have a traitor in our midst.”

Kenji gasped. “That can not be, who on their right mind would do that?”

“It is an insane thought” commented Zero.

“On brighter news, we have formed an alliance with the Air Breaker’s guild. They are a very special guild with very powerful elemental mages and wizards that are skilled in Air Breaking. Air Breaking is the delicate skill of manipulating the wind and air. With their help, we can basically transfer our whole guild from Victoria Island to Ossyria and beyond for free,” said Nero.

“These are gloomy times. Just today, I saw the Sangrek tribe to the north of where we are now, Ellinia, under attack by the Bloodhrëi. According to Alexei’s excellent eyesight, there were no survivors,” said Kenji.

Day became night as they discussed their army plans and strategies. Meanwhile, outside, ten silhouettes where stealthily jumping from rock to rock. The ten silhouettes’s had a bloody circular ring tattooed to their arms. Their weapons were skillfully crafted made of the most complex alloys. They slowly walked to the large boulder and found the discreetly covered door after a while of searching.

Alexei’s ear’s perked up. He picked up strange noises emanating from outside. Kenji instantly realised something was wrong. He informed Zero and Nero and Nero quickly pushed a button. A loud voice boomed out of the loudspeakers.

“Emergency Stations!”

“Finally, all the training of emergency drills paid off” thought Nero. There was no panic as all officers went to the areas where the entrances/exits were situated. There was a group of about ten to each entrance, all consisting of holy mages, elemental warriors and bandits. The arsenal was practically empty, with all the weapons readily held.

Outside, the ten silhouettes listened carefully before beginning their intrusion. One of the younger intruders conjured a flaming red ball. He tossed it slowly to the archer. Remembering his training, he carefully held it like a arrow being nocked onto a bow. Exhilarated, he fire the ball which hit with deadly accuracy. All of them looked away from the blinding light.

Inside, the door cracked to pieces with a flurry of light in front of them. Everyone shielded their eyes while slowly approaching the door. Kenji was among the first to be near the door. He peered out to see ten silhouettes, all in a poised stance ready to throw stars, fire arrows or send sorcery. Kenji had swift reaction and was on one of the infiltrators practically instantly. His dagger sliced cleanly though weapon of his attacker and he stared dumbstruck at his weapon while the other nine where occupied by the onrush of warriors and bandits.

Kenji took a quick advantage of his opponent’s position and leapt up with superior force as Alexei pecked at his attacker. When Kenji jumped up, he was grazed by a rocky outcrop. Ignoring the pain, he held his dagger silver side up and fell right down on his attacker’s skull. The man’s deafening scream pierced the silence of the night as one by one, they attackers fell.

“Good work soldiers,” commented Nero as everyone started walking back in dragging the corpses with them to hide after examination. They released a few “Hunter” bats to suck up the rest of the blood. After that was done, it was as if nothing had happened that night.

“I fear that was just the start. Soon, we will have to evacuate to Orbis while we can employ some of the Air Breakers’ as spies,” said Nero.

Was it a thrilling experience? I put pokemonrulx in, and im going to put arcaneangel in soon, but with a different name. Sorry. Anyway, on a brighter tone, click it if you like it!

  1. Well maybe more action isn’t needed. He could also describe the battles as if it was more exciting than it really is.
