Gah, sorry for not getting this blog earlier. Everyone has to sleep at SOME time of their lives, right?

Btw, please step away from all anvils and supposed, “grain” silos. It might be tempting to touch and fiddle around with the anvil, but er . . ., they are iron hot. Yeah, that’s right. IRON HOT!

[h]Rewind: Time before patch[/h]

At a few hours before the patch, everyone knew we were getting Korean Folk Town because it was in FTP and everyone was spamming it on Basilmarket and MMOTales. Well, not really MMOTales, but Basilmarket. Half an hour, ‘till the start of the patch, I decided to go into channel 20 FM, to join the people also there, saying random stuff like:

R.I.P. Channel 20.

Channel 20 will be gone.

[h]Fastforward: When the patch was supposed to end[/h]

I was on MSN. It was hell. At least half of basilmarket has posts like:

coolNUUU PTCH EXTENDED 1/2HR! NUUU

Or maybe I was the only one going on those threads.

The patch finished. I downloaded the miniature fifteen megabytes and logged in. I managed to get one mushmum, only to get half pwnt when I got an antivirus popup. T____T

I did manage to kill it, although there was a warrior there already. After this, I scouted a few more channels, nothing. So then I waited for the Ellinia to Orbis ship and got on it. A few agonisingly slow minutes later I was hopping down Orbis Tower and half sinking/drowning in Aqua Road. Being the lazy thing I am, I dolphin Taxi-ed to the “Sharp Unknown”. I got into the pond, and then, KFT. The first thing I saw was . . .

No. I was met with a big black blank space on my monitor, in which I was lagging madly as everyone was scrambling around KFT wreaking havoc. Thirty or less seconds later, my monitor settled and I was in KFT. I had a stack of quests to do, some half pointless. Like carrying a bag of rice four times to the opposite ends of the map. >>;

While stumbling around Korean Folk Town, I did all these random quests. Some of them aren’t so bad, like they give decent experience. I gained five percent so far, doing a small portion of these, and I only explored half of Korean Folk Town. I started all of the quests, except the Tae Gong one, and the Axe quest.

The quest for the ancient history books in Korean Folk Town. I mean seriously, what’s an isolated man at the bottom of Helios Tower doing with melted cheese? O____O

He gave me thirty melted cheese, for getting a seed off bunnies, planting it, and smashing this gourd.

Somewhere on the way of exploring all of this, I saw a character, a fire poison mage.

She teleported across. The familiarity of the screen name. It was horrifyingly familiar. Macaw.

I just had to check for the MMOTaliness. I don’t want to go up to a random stranger and go “HIIII! I THINK YOU’RE FROM MMOTALES!”

Though, I do know some people who MIGHT do it. XD

I checked. I was right. So there’s another person on my buddylist.

Wizon is evil. They are trying to limit the amount of friends you can have. My buddylist is already full. >:[

I might post some more when I unravel my FULL Korean Folk Town experience. D;

  1. Awesome. I downloaded the patch just now and logged in for like, two minuets. Considering most everything there will murder me, I probably wont be exploring around there much soon. XD Plus, I can’t do any quests yet, atleast not on Scania.

  2. LOL! “A BIG FAT WHALE” hahaha! I have to agree with you about the old man and the melted cheese. I have over 100 of those now. I think I’ll save them for when I have over 4k of HP. Let’s hope they don’t get moldy, Have you done the King Goblins quest yet? I want to get the cape with +5 Str! (they also have a +5 int club I think, and a +3 Dex/+2Str Hat I think).

  8. WHY IS THERE ONE CHANNEL LESS? We need MORE channels, not less! Nexon or Wizet needs more computers. Less channels will mean over crowded maps, etc.

    NO PATCH WILL EVER MATCH THE 14 HOUR PATCH FOR AQUA ROAD!.

  22. When Beta closed down, they shut down ALL channels except for the first ten. D;

    Of course, when this happened, I moved to the full version to enjoy the 2x exp and free Mark Of Beta. ;D
