A New Adventure?

I hate everything about you
Why, do I, love you?
You hate everything about me
Why, do you, love me?
-Three Days Grace

Wonderful. Random opening blog lyrics! ;D Although somehow related to love.

I was trying to avoid MMOTales during my exam week. But you know how reading about science and all that stuff over and over again bores you out. You can’t stop yourself. But now my exams are over! Rejoice! And await for my cruddy marks!

As much as the title hints, I am NOT, I repeat NOT quitting Global. Just taking a long vacation.

[h]Rewind: Level Up(s)[/h]

Seriously, everyone should become CB’s and try meso exploding. It’s so fun. A kind of indescribable fun. You drop money and explode it, seeing your exp bar rise really high and the quadruple digit damage (and your money go on a landslide, but that’s besides the point).

Being the meso explode-ish person I am, I went for the Mesos explosion build. (Liekomg. Who would’ve guessed that?) Right now I have 1 on chakra, 3 on Pickpocket and 3 on Mesos explosion. I am now level seventy two, only one more level ‘till meso guard. :3

The continuous boring grinding is made more fun by my friends. Mass parties with two or more people in them, the lag (Of course! What’s training without lag?! It’s like using a nail without a hammer) and the wonderful chat (or spam, in some cases) from random Maplers in your BL or Guild or whatever.

I’ve rejoined the guild WhiteRosesx3 only to read the Guild BBS and to see that the leader was planning on disbanding the guild because it was falling apart. But it wasn’t, it was just an illusion. So in the end, with a flurry of prolonged purplish chat, the guild ended up not being disbanded which is wonderful. Sheer Bliss in fact.

[h]A New Beginning[/h]

I have started anew, in the land filled with salt water, random people that shout:
“Pt pls” or “10k meso I got haxx!”.

That’s right. I visited MapleSEA after it was sitting on my desktop for so long.

You know, how it takes so much time to register these things. Took me one day to register what Pt means. It means party. Surprisingly. The second sentence however, did not make sense to me whatsoever, but I can just guess what it means.

Andandand “zzz” does the F7 Face! ;D

So many new things. Like learning not to go into channels that are set for events in a certain country such as the Penang event. When the channel was being saved for the event, I was, you know, changing channels casually to search maps, right?

Wrong. Ten seconds later, I was on channel 18. And guess the spifftastic thing that happened next? I disconnected because I went into channel 19. I remembered what I did a split second after it happened. Fast reactions are bad. .__.

I also witnessed one of the most horrific events ever. A GM getting bored.

First it was the blue notices. Now it’s the black bar at the top. The black bar gets abused and is used for typing random things. The GM, that got bored, wrote an entire story, sentence by sentence across the top. It was amusing, to a certain extent, because somehow, I think Fenrir died a few times in during the “GM-One-of-a-kind-Boredom Event”. The story was about a family of balrogs and a gang of maplers that went to the cursed sanctuary to kill the balrogs. Sadly, I didn’t read the whole story because I was distracted by heaps of miscellaneous things.

What I did manage to do, was get to level 29 in 5 playing days with my character being alive for a total of about twelve days now.

[h]China[/h]

I’ve got to admit it, its pretty cool. I saw so many different things that I’ve never seen in Global. Travelling around on Silvah’s little snail, Gastropoda. It started off at the World Tour Agency to China with the everlasting heal potion of a cleric. The farms. So Agricultural. Sheep. Chickens. Evil black goats that make a gust of wind that does so much damage (What, does dust get into your eyes and you get blinded and you trip over a rock making you take damage or something?)

We ran around, exploring and starting random quests. I have began to also learn of SEA’s warps and some of its lingo.

[h]Zipangu[/h]

This place is purely awesome. Indescribable. I mean, who can describe a bunch of flying blue crows, little green midgets that run around with their friend-that’s-on-fire and a bonus of flying wraiths and zombies. Purely indescribable. There’s a bunch of gangstah wannabe people along the way to Showa Town.

Showa Town is strange. Like the sauna, for example. It’s strange. Weird. And the back of the sauna, takes you to chilli slimes. At first, I thought it was chilly slimes, meaning cold? But now I know. They are red. They are flaming. Silver loves their exp. Oh. This tour wouldn’t have been complete without the awesome Silver. I would’ve gotten lost. Not to mention, I would have entered the map with the supposed over-level-one-hundred-bosses map. And there would have been one more tombstone that fell down that day.

[h]FlyFF[/h]

I began anew in FlyFF, removing all my old useless characters and starting again, as an-assist-to-be. Earlier, I was level eight. The FlyFF server screwed up earlier, when I had the PERFECT opportunity to play, but no, the world is conspiring against me. Gpotato hates me or something.

-Paranoid-

After that slight problem, I logged in, informed Silver and continued on the neverending quest of bashing random things to death. I learnt two things in FlyFF today. One of the things were inevitable.

Don’t you just hate it when your trying to run away form an angry monster and you “accidentally” double click on another one? I hate it. I had two things on my tail and I found out how much damage Bang’s do to level eights. 200+ Which is about 9/10 of my health. It’s so lame how I have to find out everything the hard way. Five seconds later, and a few potions later, I disappeared back to Flaris, an experience box marking where I died.

The lamest thing was, when I went back to finish collecting Unknown ID’s, my experience box either vanished, or I was standing on top of it, or I was completely blind.

The second thing was, I found out how much damage a Boss Demian does. It’s nasty. Considering its underlings are violence deprived people holding knives angrily and waving them around and the fact that they only hit eleven on me boosted me more to see how much damage it did. I found out and it wasn’t nice. Two hundred damage and counting, once again, 9/10 of my health.

I think I’ve learnt my lesson. Don’t go randomly poking stuff for the fun of it, especially if it’s a lot stronger, fatter and wider than you.

Sorry for having no screenies in this blog. It’s not my fault I do not have the hit-the-screenie-button-as-many-times-as-I-can Syndrome. Someone infect me with it.

This week, I might revisit Global to level my bandit, then get to second job on MSea and first on FlyFF!

  1. Oh right, and that tombstone’s would have been my little Snail’s, wouldn’t it?

  2. I’m off any games for this few weeks because my life has been in a bad patch. Sorry if you were waiting for me or whatever to come online. D:

Maybe that’s the storyline for the 4th job quest or whatever. Go for that second job! Don’t mis-click like I did!
