The Spear Of Hope
Chapter 5: The Foe

“Gah! It seems like the boy and the girl got their callings, Dave have you finished your test yet?”
“Yes father. I just came back from Night Lords bar now.”
“Alright you know what you must do.”
“Yes. Seek and destroy the enemy.”
“Good, Crocher and Ariel must die.”
“Yes father.”

Crocher shook his head. “There has got to be a better way then this.” he thought. “I’ve been waiting for a cab for hours” Finally a little cab drove up and parked on the sidewalk. Crocher walked up the the driver seat.
“One ride to Ellinia please.” He said.
“Aight hope on in.” said the driver as he begun to start up the car again.
While Crocher was in the car, he begun to listen to what was on the radio.
“Aww sweet! It’s my favourite song by 50 mesos!” he thought.
The car jerked forward and then took off down the hill. Crocher looked out the window to see where exactly he was going.

Two hours later the ground changed from rocks to grass and vines.
“Hey dood we’re almost there. It’s gonna be 1,000 mesos.” said the driver.
Crocher sat up and reached into his back pocket to bring his bag of mesos, he has been saving up since 1st grade.
Feeling nothing there, Crocher chuckled “It must be in the other pocket.” He thought.
Feeling nothing again Crocher began to think back. “Where the heck did I put my money?”
A picture of his bed flashed in his mind. Crocher cursed “I forgot it under my pillow at home!” he thought.

The cab pulled up beside a weapon shop.
“Aight dood! I’ll need my munny now pl0x.” He turned to face Crocher and gasped.
The car door was wide open and Crocher was nowhere to be seen.
Crocher was hiding behind the door in the weapon shop. No one was inside, but, he could hear sceaming in the back room. Crocher walked towards the door to investigate.

When Crocher opened he was surprised to see Ariel holding a wand.
“Ariel! There you are!” He cried.
Suddenly the door slamed shut. “SO YOU’RE FRIENDS WITH THIS GIRL!” screamed a fairy.
Crocher looked at Ariel. “I kinda blew up a bag on the floor with a magic attack.” She said.
Crocher’s jaw almost dropped. “YOU BLEW UP SOMETHING!” He cried.
“Yeah, Grendal taught me how. All you do is point.” Ariel lifted her wand at Crocher’s head.
“Aim” A ball of energy swelled up on the tip of her wand.
” And shoot!” she cried.

KA-BOOM!!!!!!!

Crocher ducked just in time to dodge it, but, too bad the wall couldn’t duck. A huge chunk of the wall was blown up!
Crocher,Ariel and the fairy stood there, staring at the hole in the wall.
“OH HECK NO!” screamed the fairy. She turned towards Chrocher and Ariel. “NOW YOU’RE GONNA PAY”
Crocher turned towards Ariel. “Smooth moves my friend.” he said.
“My bad!” Ariel replied.

After hours of working under the fairy’s command. The fairy flew in while Crocher and Ariel were stacking boxes.
“You all can go.” said the fairy.
Crocher dropped a box “For real! We can go!” he cried.
Ariel shook her head “Why the sudden change of heart?” she asked.
“Someone payed for the wall” replied the fairy.
Suddenly a boy walked in the room. ” Hey guys! C’mon let’s talk somewhere else.”

“So your name is Dave right?” asked Crocher. They were all standing outside.
Dave nodded “Yep I just became a Assassin today.” he replied.
Ariel nudged Crocher ” Ask him about the Spear Of Hope.” she whispered.
“Yeah! So, Dave, have you ever heard of something called the Spear of Hope?” Crocher asked.
“Hmmm targets confirmed. These two are Crocher and Ariel.” Dave thought.
“Spear of Hope…. Yeah I know where it is.” He said.
“Really! Can you show us?” Ariel asked.
“Yeah it’s in the center of Victoria Island. C’mon i’ll show you.” Dave replied.
“Alright! Let’s hit up a hotel first, I am tired.” said Crocher.
“Good idea!” replied Dave.

And together the all walked into a inn nearby.

P.S. Next chapter I’m planning to pu a lil romance in.
P.P.S. I wont wrie for a week since i’m going to the US for the holidays so…yeah see ya in a week.
