Funny, stories aern’t apperciated.

I’m just trying to say that people don’t get famed that often. If somebody doesn’t comment. He/she might lose the will to write. I noticed that quite sometimes. BUT. For all those that quited, you write for own pleasure so yeah time for a point.

Well, it’s just some occasion that I read alot of story blogs and it seems that one guy writes a story. Compared well to one of Mipsacri’s but only gets 2 likes. But when she actually WRITES a blog. It’s almost +15 likes for her.

Take the example on someone else. Hmm. . . Let’s say AngelWitWing and Map1eHolics 1 shot stories.

~They definetely get to the front page NO matter WHAT.
~With an average of +5 likes. Even her rants gets most people going. Let’s say the last rant was like 2x fregging exp. DarkWar actually did a blog on that blog.

Now going for jf.

See his blogs/stories are sorta down~up~down~up. So his average is +10, but he is oneof the site’s longest resident so. . . that may be it.

Going for AlterOfGod.
His blogs are = to those of any other rants. But gets ALMOST defienetly lower “likes” than those of Jf, Map1eHolic.
And he pwns at comments. Ownage I tell you. . .
But gets less likes. Why is that?

Going for estelonin.
Poems, sure good ones, and got fame up fast. But how come her poems are beating those of some other great poets? But it might be just my opinion. No offense of on the other poets. Just didn’t do enough research time on all the people of MMO.

Going for. . . hmm. IndigoLove. (who btw keft)
Her guides kicks . . . but if someone else attempts a guide. It won’t make the front page.

Is that about it? There’s alot of other people so make yourself HEARD!

Whatever I gotta go to school, and please either flame me, PM me, post a comment, or click on I like it.

Mabye I can make a list of the “top” charts. Ya geez I have no life. So bored, summer getting to my nerves.

And all my friends who are still 13 or 12 watches p0rn all day. I mean what is with them.
Sigh, boredom makes me depressed.

  1. Well, kids who are 12 and 1 are alot more matured.
IndigoLove knows about BDSM and she’s only 13.

  2. I’ll be bold and say this: two of the authors you mentioned above aren’t even worth the likes. Lousy language usage, bad format, storylines so flimsy the wind will break it. And I can think of another series that has too many more likes that it deserves. Thank you for making this blog.

(okay, I’m not so bold after all, with all the ‘no names mentioned’. :P)

  3. I love how there’s always an interesting blog for me to look at whenever I check back on this site o_O

I could be sarcastic and say “Look at my guide for ‘How to be a Popular Writer’ ” :3 But nah.

There’s not really much you can do.
Possibly their blogs aren’t made for the masses.
I personally think AlterOfGod’s material is a bit more “heavy” and “deep” compared to what society is ready to handle and actually enjoy.

However, you COULD do something. . .
    Don’t bash the other authors.
That just brings negative attention to you rather (Plus, I was somewhat offended. To be honest however, I haven’t. . seen another guide o_O)

You should rather try to spread the word.
When you comment on a blog go, “Oh, that reminds me of another good blog, found here”
Or, “You seem like someone who would like so and so”

You could have made your point without any negative attention if you had just focused on praising those that should be praised.

    Good luck!
Keep reading, keep writing, and keep loving.

  4. ERGH I lost the comment I wrote because I was installing a new keyboard, and it was in a diff. language so I had to switch like 20 keys around. But basically what I typed was that young writers get either a) encouraged by pro writers to write their own stories or b) discouraged by them because they think they can never compare. And I know that most people just write because they love to. And I respect that. I joined MMO Tales hoping to create a story because I love writing.

And yes, that wedding was true.
