Let me point out before I start this that I am not normally a very angry or aggressive person. But these things have bothered me to no end, having me blog about this.
I know this has nothing to do with my story, which will be posted tonight, but everyone, please stop making these hate threads. Saying you hate such-and-such will likely get you banned for harassment, and we don’t want that at all.
Lately, there has been too much anger on this site. Alot of people (not everyone, mind you, I give love and cookies to whomever isn’t) is complaining about how their story isn’t being read, or how they hate someone else because of such-and-such. If your story isn’t being read, I’m not really sure what to say, just keep trying! Never give up, always write things for your own enjoyment and not for the likes or views. Sure, it is nice, but you should only write for your own happiness. If you write so people will look at it, then I suggest you stop writing immediately and find another hobby. It’s meaningless if you don’t do it because you like doing it.
To those who hate other people, just stop. If you hate someone, take it to them personally, in a polite, direct manner. Making a blog with ‘omg such-and-such is such a –bleep- and –bleep- -bleep- -bleep-‘ is not going to get you anywhere besides kicked off of this site. If you don’t like someone, stop throwing the punches! Just, email the person in question, don’t say anything rude, and calmly explain why you don’t like them. ‘Just because’ doesn’t count either.
Lastly, it’s really surprising and disappointing me that people are starting to accept these so called ‘leet’ hackers. It doesn’t matter if they’re noob or leet, if they steal items or give them away. Hacking should not be allowed or justifiable at any level, as overall, it’s still making them have an unfair advantage.
Even worse is when I’ve seen people who complain about hackers passing them in rank, but still praise the so-called ‘leet’ ones. Don’t you understand, they’re the most likely to pass you, since they’re hacking? Yes, before you even ask, I am aiming this blog at ‘Illusi0nzxX’, because people seem to so easily accept it even though it just hacks and passes you in rank, day by day.
Sure, call me immature, please, tell me your opinions. But I state mine, and mine very clearly. Hacking is in no way justifiable throughout the system of MapleStory, to me, hackers are all on the same level, far below ours. No matter what they say or how they act, a hacker is a hacker.
That’s enough ranting for me; I just had to get that out of my system.

Speak the word! That’s exactly how I feel! Whining about something doesn’t make it right, it just pisses everyone else off that you can’t solve your own problems. And, for hackers, if you can’t play the game by the rules, then why do you play? Stop screwing up the game for everyone else!

Hackers don’t deserve anything besides being banned. Scammers and hackers are the same in my book. They cheat to get what they want.
Does anyone remember when they rolled back the training almost a whole week because of a hack that had gotten out, causing people to duplicate items? That was done by hackers, not scammers. I had gotten some pretty valuable items that week, and I lost them all.
Scammers just work off of dumb people in hopes of stealing their stuff/account. I’m am appalled that you would even consider giving hackers credit, there’s no such thing as a ‘noble hacker’.

(Oh, and hacking does not take an ounce of work these days. I’ve seen real sites with hacks you can just download and run, easy as pie. Alot of hackers just do that instead of actually doing any work.)
Hackers DO have skills. They just put it to use ruining a game for everyone else. If they have that sort of talent, why don’t they work for a game company and make their own game?
People that use hacks that are given out, however, are weak, and should be thrown from their chairs into a fiery chasm.

I respect the fact that hacking requires knowledge, but who’s knowledge? That one guy on some cheat forum who tell you the values so that others can just simply copy?
Its still cheating. There’s “making the hack” and then there is “using the hack”.
You cannot define one’s honour through their knowledge. Why? Knowledge can be used for right and wrong. You can respect knowledge and the existance of it, but you can’t honour it.

Yeah I’ve just gotten used to it and sadly enough everyone has become smarter. Everytime I walk to z4 z2 is being “Vacuum’d” near or on the entrance and some 3rd Job Hacker attacks once and instantly disappears :/. It’s getting harder to track with the “off screen” hacks. The worst part is people won’t believe it or don’t care that so many of these “leet pro’s” are fakes. I’m still surpised only a few have caught onto Tiger and believe it. Not to hate him or anything, but technically in the guidelines of this game, sharing an account to make yourself good is an immediate ban. Plus, your not praising Tiger, you’re praising about 9-10 young men who work on this account around the world so their timezones fit with their training times. But I must disagree with you Guruji and agree with lightsage57. Hacking DOES take skill, but it is used IMPROPERLY.

That is very true. But to tell you the truth, I think a lot of us are lazy and just accept everything these hackers do. They’re making people quit, making people angry and ruining Maple Story, yet no one really cares. They think that Wizet can take care of everything. Well, Wizet will NEVER ban all hackers because some of them will stop at no costs to just completely ruin this game. If wizet can stop 90% of all hacker, they need us to help them ban the rest of them! Now who’s with me?! That sounded like an ‘I Believe’ speech =)

To all of the people praising hackers for having skills-
I do agree that SOME hackers work for their hacks, writing the codes, testing them, and making sure they get around gameguard.
But that is absolutely NO reason to praise them. If they spend that much work on a hack, why don’t they bloody train themselves? It takes MUCH less knowledge, and is infinitely simpler.
Scammers and Hackers are both scum, whether they write their codes or download them.
And the only reason Scammers succeed is because people are stupid enough to drop an item in a random place, or trust someone. If the population of Maple was smarter, then Scammers would be out of buisness.
