UPDATE: As much as you’ll all scalp me for this (Yikes~!), the reason I’ve gotten back from Cappie-chan as to why people were being frozen, and it simply was:

So, I guess that’s the word of the day. All I can say is to please keep your topics on MMOs only, or with a major theme of MMOs. I’m trying to get more information, like about the RPG thread, and how many strikes you get before you’re banned for posting this non-related to MMOs.

I guess I begin by saying.. well, where do I begin?

I’ve noticed in the past few days, people have got increasingly hostile to me just because I am a new mod, and they automatically assume I’m the one calling the shots. But let me explain this to you completely and undenyably, for any future referance.

I do NOT have the power to delete blogs or ban people.

Got that? Good. Now to delve deeper into that.. I’m not here to attack you, I’m not here to delete your blogs or destroy what you have here. I’m just the same old Mip I always am! The one that gets along with mostly everyone, the one who tries to get along with everyone. (Although the ‘Steel-Whip Mip’ did make me laugh. ^_^)

I am on your side. I don’t want anyone to be banned, nor do I want blogs to be deleted. But if you post something like your friend’s suicide, or your cat getting lost, I have no choice but to do such things, I have guidelines to follow, no matter who my friends are.

To re-iterate again. I can not ban or delete blogs. This is not my doing at all, and lately I haven’t even reported a single blog! So I feel the need to defend myself, as you all are shifting the blame in the wrong direction. The end.

Please stop flaming me or sending angry PMs because ‘such and such got banned’ or ‘what why was my blog deleted?’

I do not know. I did not do it. Stop PMing me about it.

So, keep your blogs focused on MMOs, as those are the guidelines set to me, and please don’t leave because of something I supposedly did, or the community evolving. Things get bigger, they change.

Get over it.

  3. I don’t. . . think so. I am almost positive I am the only mod, and all mods only have limited powers. None of us can ban people, so I would assume Cappie-chan is doing it. But I’m going to ask him and try to figure this out for everyone.

  8. I don’t know. I still support him though, he has to have a reason for this. That’s why I sent him a lengthy PM in support of you folks in hopes that I can get a response and some justice to those unfairly frozen.

    @Demented: Yeah, I am. And it’s a job that’s much more difficult to handle than I thought it would be. BUT I won’t give up!

    I think we’re just upset that we don’t know who is doing this.
    Sure, we know and we realize what captain is doing and that he has the authority to. . . (I mean, he did make the site)
    But since the RolePlay thread got deleted and we have yet to recieve any source of response to it from the captain himself, we really feel kind of. . .

    Helpless.
    I dunno. Pick a word.
    We don’t know what’s going on.

    You’re really the only figure of authority that we can recognise. Just as how Maplers openly flame GMs more than Wizet actually, we find the GMs more tangible and easy to blame.
    In the end, you’re kind of our scapegoat.

    I personally apologize for any feelings I’ve harbored, and I agree that you have a right to defend yourself.
    Just try to understand that we’re. . .

    But this is too important to me, I won’t let it go.

    So everyone considering leaving, please don’t. This is just a difficult area, we can tough it out, and I’ll find out what’s going on,
