A couple of months ago, i wrote a blog about “Anti-Hackers and the real motives”. I still agree with some points about that i wrote previously, i am also contradicting the others. It’s gotten utterly disgusting! Everywhere i turn there is someone hacking. I am not exaggerating either. They all seem to be doing the same hack, that through some investigation and googling i’ve found out the name, and emailed wizet. Yes. That is right, i went to every hacking forum or website that i could find and i emailed Wizet a list, and the names of hacks that are being used now. I have sent them downloads of some hacking tools that i obtained, I even told them how easy it was for me to find hack addresses!
What drove me off the edge was not that there was a hacker botting everywhere i went, no. It is the fact that the economy is so messed up. I cannot afford a cape that i need, and mind you. I’m very well off. I was ticked off that scrolls for cape costs almost 4 mil now, and before they were just 900-1.2mil. What the hell is going on?
Yes, Hackers fuel the economy, but not for us. For other hackers. There are people in the game that cannot afford their equipments because of how screwed the economy is, and we can’t just sit here and let hackers take over.
I think we should all take action and say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
DONT BUY THINGS THAT ARE OVER PRICED! Look at the basil’s price checks, and do not buy things over the prices stated. If we don’t buy, the sellers will have to lower the prices.
Everytime you see a hacker, Report them. If there are others around you, ask for help on reporting them.
Take a screenshot of the person hacking, and also mail it in.
IF you know anywhere that you can get hacks, or can obtain a download, send it into wizet.
I know that these might see alittle outrageous, and extreme measures.
It is simply not fair.
I do have a life, I work, i attend college. Maplestory, however is more like a pass time of mines, and i’m really disliking what has been going on. I know that there will be ways to stop this, even if it means having to IP bann people. I know that you can get around the IP banning, but the more difficult they make it the less hacker there will be. If they atlease Lessen the amount of hackers, I’d be fine.
No they dont mess up my GAMEPLAY, they just screw with the economy, and tick me off.
Yes, I AM jealous that they level up so fast, while i work hard.
I could hack if i wanted to, i’m ASM savy. I don’t feel the need to hack. It just defeats the purpose of the game. I like challenges and like to play how the game was meant to be played. So as my final words i’ll say
LET’S ALL PUT OUR HEADS TOGETHER AND FIND A SOLUTION! FOR THE SAKE OF MAPLESTORY!
Part of the reason scroll prices are so high right now is because more hackers are getting banned. When they’re banned, their items disappear as well. Thus, there are fewer scrolls on the market and prices skyrocket. At least, that’s just my observations. The new GMs are actually doing something (heck, a couple of my friends actually saw a GM in Broa the other day. That’s a first).

Whats even more great is that we don’t even need to pay you guys and the money keeps on flowing in from your account to ours.

EDIT: My business teacher taught me that the more supply of something there is, or less demand of something. The prices will be lower. Just grade 12 economics i’m throwing at the table. And keep in mind that the more hackers there are, the more of an item there is, meaning the less price.
Aye, and if you haven’t played MS since beta days, then you shouldn’t be raving on and about about prices. I’ve seen high prices; and trust me , if anything, the prices are decreasing.
