Beggars… My Encounter.

I know a lot of people hate them. and this was my first time experienceing one. This person was very annoying.

Yes, please take a look at the picture above. This was my very first time experienceing a beggar asking for money. I may be level 55 and never experienced someone like the perosn above, but it’s because I never open trade-requests from people I don’t know. Today I decided to change my ways, I wish I never did.

I was heading to the potion shop to NPC some letters for 100 mesos each. I use a return scroll from the Golem Temple and appear in-town. Then, I head to the left when suddenly I get a trade-request from someone I don’t know. I had been continuely turning down trade-requests throughout the day, and then I decided to change that. When I open the window, I find a Rogue dressed in red. This is from a trade-request before the picture above. She traded me twice, the picture is the second trade I had with her. Here is the rest of the conversation that I remember:

Me: Huh?

Many seconds later. (She didn’t seem to type very well)

Beggar: Can I have money me por

Me: Uh poor?

Beggar: ya

Me: Sorry, I don’t give out money. I cancel trade

The person was well away from me when she traded me, so I guess it was a surprise when I saw the same person walk by me, turn around, and trade me again. I decide to trade her again, to fully dicscover what beggars are all about. The conversation is above in the picture. The be at the end of the chat is supposed to be beg. After that, I canceled the trade and changed channels.

In the end I was utterly annoyed, yet decided not to defame her, for I was the one who wanted to see a beggar for the first time. moral? I now here-by hate beggars for what they do, and probably will not open suspicious trades for a whlie unless it’s from a Basilmarket trader.

Thank you for reading!

Happy Mapling!

  1. Heh this is your 1st!? one? Lucky is all I can say. I’ve been begged throughout Vic Island since level 42. Now I’m at Sleepywood getting eggs and I’ve been begged to: Change Channel (I was there first.), Party them (they can take my drops from Turkey if I party them), or give them money/train them.
