“Come in children. . .” We heard a creepy voice from inside say.

Yikes I’m thinking. I squeezed Darren’s hand, instead of loosening my hand, he gave me a firm and re assuring smile. We stepped over a broken door, and as I look around, I see quite a clear vision of a . . . well, no offence, but I see an old women. Thinking it’s so such deal, I let go of Darren’s hand, and walked it. “Hello, I was just wondering if you know where the nearest town is, or where the police station is? You see, our bus broke dow-” I was saying but the old woman cut me off
“SILENCE!! Now. . You don’t want to wake up my wraiths do you?” The old woman said as she stands up slowly. I see her walking towards me hearing nothing but the squeaking noise of the wood on the floor.

“Um. . . Darren. . . You might want to come here. . . .” I said silently while biting my lips.
“Aaahhh, yes you must be Lily. . . Lily Thafz” She said
“It’s Thefz!” I corrected but I think I might’ve been a bit too loud because soon, I see white things come flying towards us. Jr. wraiths, soon followed by Wraiths. I reached out for my kumbis and prepares to aim it at them, but this “old woman” puts her hand up in the air, and these Wraiths just stop moving.
“Listen Lily, I’m Mazda, I’m a powerful witch, ice/lit mage. You might of met my niece, Edward and h-” She said but this time, I cut her off.
“WHAT?! OH MY GOSH! EDWARD IS YOUR .. . YOUR?! NIECE?!” I give a little dramatic impression of me fainting.
“Silence! Silence! Anyways, I’ve been keeping a close eye of you. .” She says while I just look in disgust.
“Ewwww, you look at me even when I’m in the shower?!” I gave another disgusting look, Darren just laughed.
“NO YOU FOOL! I’ve been keeping a close eye on you, and you are the next Master. Your just destined to be. In all classes, there can only be one destined to be, and that would be my niece Edward. To make that possible, I will destroy and eliminate anyone that stands in the way!” She cries.
“And I thought I was suppose to be scared!” I laughed “It sounds like the sort of drama we do when the bad guy tries to take over the world and all of that s**t” I laughed.
“IT IS!” Mazda thunders “Now my wraiths, kill them!” She shouts in command. Wraiths fly towards us.
Oh, this is too easy, I thought, but boy was I wrong about that. As soon as a threw a kumbi, the kumbi just went RIGHT through the wraiths. Only Darren’s magic attack would work against it. I gathered all my concentration together and focused. Soon, a number came through my head. Seven. . . . Seven. . . . 7. . .7 . . . .7. . . . Seven. . . I focused so hard, soon enough, I started through stars they wouldn’t MISS the wraiths but hurt them. I see Darren aiming like a million fire arrows. I aimed this unique attack that I learned. I felt weaker and weaker each time I aim a star.
“IMPOSSIBLE! Stars GO THROUGH wraiths!” Mazda cries, then she adds in mumble “No wonder she’s destined to be. . .”
Soon, we and Darren were back to back getting ready to attack or counter attack. A wraith charges towards me, instead of throwing a star, I fall down, right in Darren’s arms.
“Are you alright Lily?!” He asks in a concerning voice.
“I’m fine. . . I’m not hurt or anything, I feel something inside be, it’s like burning down.” I say softly.
“It’s mana. Usually Mana are giving to magicians and on odd occasions, others.” Darren says, he pulls out a bottle filled with blue stuff. With these bottles, I only see them come to red and orange. Never blue. Trusting him, I drank the bottle. I don’t know how to describe the feeling, it was like a switch just turned on and I felt up and running again. Before I had the chance to thank him, I saw a Wraith charging towards him, I pushed him out of the way, and threw on of those “attacks” at the wraith. Then I felt him push me back a bit, as he fired a fire arrow directly at the Wraith.

There was really a limit on the amount of potions we each have, but we hear a BOOM sound, and the wall behind us fell down. Collapsed sort of. It was a Woman, she held out her staff, it was, if I’m not mistaken, Thorn. They were a beauty. She mumbles a spell, an green sparkles roes beneath her and I see all the Wraiths fading away. I see a Jr. Wraith charging from behind her.
“Watch out! Behind you!” I shout
Se turns around and aims a beautiful white arrow, and instantly, that moment, it all falls down.

“Are you kids okay?” She asks
“I think so.” Darren says looking at me. I smiled.
“Yes, we’re okay. Who are you?” I asked, and before any of us had a chance to say anything, we hear a BOOM, and we see Mazda in the distance.
“She’s getting away!” I cried, eyes full of anger.
“It’s okay” Darren said “We’ll get her next time”
“If there is a next time. You too are in really big trouble.” This woman frowns
“Ummm, your not a bad guy are you?” I ask
“No silly, I’m your new concentration teacher. I help you all focus on your abilities” She says
“Oh! Well, I just wanted to tell you, I could kill wraiths with this new ability I learned. It’s really cool, but why did 7’s come through my head all the time?” I asked
The teacher’s eyes grew wide.
“What?! You learned the newest and hardest sin skill. Lucky 7.” She said, and before I could say “what’s that?” She said “We better get you to back to school, the others were back to school ages ago, because luckily, the late bus came.”
“Could you give us a moment?” Darren asked
“Sure, I’ll be outside” The teacher said

“Lily. . ., ever since today, I know it sounds weird, and we haven’t even met for more than one day, but when I saw you, it was like I couldn’t even take my eyes off you.” He started to say
I wanted to reply, me too, but I didn’t want to bring my hopes up, so I said .
“uh huh.. . And?”

“Well, I really like you. Do you. . .” He started to say
“Want to be my girlfrient?” I finished his sentenced “Okay.” I replied.
He just laughed and held out his hand. I held onto it. I didn’t want to let go. I’m glad this is the start of a new relationship, you know, I just want to thank Mazda for this too. Hehe.

When we arrived at school, boy was our home teacher mad as hell.
“WHY ARE YOU LATE. WHY ARE YOU COVERED IN BLOOD? WHY IS YOUR UNIFORM MESSED UP?! AND MOST OF ALL, WHY ARE YOU TWO HOLDING HANDS?!”

Oh jeez, there’s going to be lots of explaining to do.

In the next chapter, Darren and Lily encounters not only more problems with the more stronger Mazda but also relationship problems. Also, are you sure Darren’s parents are the good people?

I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter!! I sure loved writing it. It was interesting. It will get mushy at points, and it might even get cheesy at times, but just bare with me folks!
