WARNING! WARNING! LONG BLOG!

wow, well it’s been quite awhile since i updated this thing.
well as far as life in TOP goes, it consists of one thing.
dark swamp, Dark Swamp, DARK SWAMP! (and 1 guild war, thats at the bottom since it’s short)

i usually do dark swamp, 1-3 sometimes 4 times a day.
(which is super hard because it only opens every 3 hours, so if i do 5 times a day, then i’ve jacked up on caffeine or have severe insomnia)
if Yang is online, (one of the coolest people i’ve ever met. usually late night dark swamp runs he always is) then we usually clear out every chest in dark swamp level 1, 2 and 3.
(i honestly prefer going with just yang at night, we have more fun and we don’t have to split with 4 other people)

one of the funnest parts of dark swamp, is SLAUGHTER. we get to kill anyone who isn’t in our guild. for me, the easiest to kill are voyagers and crusaders.
i love voyagers i really do. but only after they get on land. then it’s it’s seal, bolt, bolt ur dead.
for example yesterday i accidently kill CB, and his slightly psychotic cleric friend came on shore while i was killing him and bolted me. i killed him, and she didn’t kill me. HAH! the meanwhile she was threatening to kill my poor little seal master. “back off or i kill Miyani!” i sealed her and yang conch rayed her ass, then just as we started to run away my dad booted me offline X_X

but today was the funnest, most challenging, and unfair dark swamp ever.
to start off, my goodluck streak ended with me not dieing a bajillion times every DS. usually as long as i dah along with the rest of my party, i can scrape by with a few scratches, and every now and then one big smack from the bigger treants. (that combined with even the smallest lag can usually take me out if i don’t have a cleric buffing me.)
along with the the end of my goodluck, i lost ALL of the experiance i had been working my ass off with Cosmos to get (he’s gonna be pissed when i tell him, so i’m gonna avoid him for a little while <.< at least until i get it back)
so there goes…..75% i think.
i was fine with dieing, i usually am. cuz let’s face it, in a 3 level maze full of monsters that can either knock ur ass out with a critical, or can take u down in 4 or 5 hits, ontop of having to fight whoever thinks they can come in and loot DS. (the guild i’m in pretty much controls DS, anyone else that comes in is just another blue dot, and must die)

anyway, we had looted all the chests, and i only died a couple times (from what everyone says, SM is supposed to die alot, and i die less then haru X_X)
and we got really good drops from the chests, as in most of them were valuable chests and not champ or SM chests. (not to diss the SM, but u can’t sell those freakin things)
and we have a fairly decent party to take to blue, Nina left not long before we got there, so there went one cleric.

when we get to blue, Kar, Sweet, and Yang all went to the attack position (west of blue mud) and i went to the sealers spot (south of blue) first seal went fine, no problem, then it was one death, 2 failed seals, then about 8-12 good seals, then a couple more fails, then death, death, death. which REALLY pissed me off. so kar and sweet keep on rezing me, while Yang boosts my spirits a bit by reminding, seal masters are supposed to die, if you go to ds with a SM, ur going to die. it’s part of life in ds halfway through the fight with blue, my staff broke.
So, I click my inventory and ALL of my **** is broken! and at the worse possible time! i can’t go back to shaitan at this point and fix my gear, cuz there is no way in hell i’d make it back to the portal before it closed (when this happened we were about 2 or 3 minutes before portal close) so if i left then, there was over an hour my team would still be in DS without a seal master.
it was a little embarassing to tell the entire party all i could do was seal, and not attack, at all.

so with their grace and understand, we continued to beat the crap out of blue mud.
then the clock starts winding down to the time when DS closes until the next one. as i’m comparing the damage done and the damage needed to be done to what time we had left, i sort of knew this was going to either be a miracle, or a disaster.
well guess which one it was.
it wound down, he had just a sliver of hitpoints left, then we get the dreaded server message :dark swamp is closing in 1 minute (insert countdown here):
so almost simultaneously we all went ****! GO GO GO GO GO!
we had him down to just a few more shots and we were in there, when yang starts yelling “attack more attack everyone!” i figured just because i can’t bolt, doesn’t mean my staff still isn’t good as a blunt object for melee attack, so i run in, yang conch raying, Kar and sweet bolting the **** out of it it’s down to 2 hits it’s dead, so while they are waiting for spell cool down, i try smacking it with my staff, then just as i hit it, my screen freezes, and i’ve been warped out of DS.
we failed
if we had 10 seconds longer, we would have had enough time to not only kill it but fly in and scoop up the oh so precious chest containing the ever sought after sealed equip.
and now i’m more ambitious since Haru gave the other 45 unsealed abraxas robe to Leroy.
i’m not lvling past 55 (max level for ds) until i get abraxas.
which oddly enough won’t count for long, since my abraxas items (right now, just the staff) will be passed down to my other seal master as soon as i get the 55 sealed set. (i opted to buy, since another guild owns demonic world, the only place to get the 55)
