Maple hates me. It just decided now to make it visible.
Yesterday, I played Maple, and it ran just fine. Today, however, I get the 114 error. I swept for spyware and I ran a virus scan. It still won’t let me play.
In retrospect, the only thing that has changed is that I installed an updated form of Java, and a programming enviroment, eclipse. However, neither of these things should have this major of an effect on my system. Any help from you guys?

Try before starting up maple go to the little tab at the bottom right hand corner and right clicking on the java sign and clicking cancel, it will get rid of it

check to see if your internet security blocked maple, that usually happens to me for some reason,
Do you hvae firewall? If so, close it when you play maple. Also, another problem could be if have too many ss like me. TT
I have over 10k screen shots, just save them elsewhere and delete it.
If that still doesn’t work, try not to use theshortcut, Go straight to C/program files/wizet/maplestory, and click the little icon.
If THAT still doesn’t work, first re-start your computer, then delete maplestory, then re download it.
you dont need to close your firewall, you can just go to the program thing, and then change whatever command it has on your maplestory and gameguard to allow it all the time
on norton, its personal firewall>configure>programs, then look for maplestory or gameguard, and change it to permit, if you dont see ms or gg, add them and then click permit
Tried all of your suggestions. Failure still haunts my computer.
Tell you guys what. I’m just going to take a break from Maple for the next few days, clear my head, work on classes and such. I’ll solve this problem later.
