The MapleCrack Story IV

I know my last one was a bit long, ans some didn’t like it as much as the first two, but this chapter will answer some questions, and raise many more 😉

Read I, II, and III before this one!!!

“So you want another MapleCrack pill?” he asked, worried.

“I must! I have to make myself whole again. The only way to do it is to go back. I must find out… if that girl did that on purpose.” My morale dropped as those last words escaped my mouth.

“Very well… I suppose it’s the least I could do. I’m sorry; I should have gone in with you. I could have stopped all this from happening!” He breathed as he buried his face in his hands. “I tried to forget what happened, I talked to you as if none of this had happened, I’m sorry!” he cried.

“What’s done is done… I forgive you, now crying won’t he—AAARRGH” The same stabbing pain returned, this time it was significantly stronger. I grabbed my arm screaming in agony for the second time that day as I fell to the ground. This time, however, the pain did not go away, but kept getting stronger.

“Darren!” He screamed as he scrambled to catch me. It was no use, I heard him but I could not reply. I managed to let go of my forearm to see what was causing the pain. What I saw next was beyond belief.

“Argh… this can’t… be possib—GAAHHH” It now felt as if my whole body was on fire, I started losing touch and I fell into the darkness I had come out of earlier that day.

I dropped from the sky into the familiar town I had left that same day. This was impossible, I didn’t take a MapleCrack pill; how could I be back? As I thought this my Maple PDA started ringing. I took it out and I saw “Crimson wants to chat” flashing in big blue letters in the main screen. I pressed the ‘accept’ button on the touch screen and her face appeared.

“Welcome back Gandalf!” she greeted me with a large smile.

“Welcome back indeed.” I replied coldly.

“What’s wrong?” She asked, smile turning to a frown.

“You know very well. A part of me is trapped in this dimension; ever since I left nothing has been normal. I have had two incidents where mysterious writing and symbols have appeared on my skin. I couldn’t see the stars, I felt cold, and no matter where I went it was always deathly quiet.” My voice had risen to a point where I was almost screaming.

“Oh… that… I’m sorry…” I managed to catch a tear streaming down her face before she turned off her PDA Chat.

  1. I know it’s a bit short, but the original version of Part IV was 4 pages long so, yeah

  2. Dude, STOP LEAVING US IN SUSPENSE it cracks me up. I like the idea of MapleStory being the drug crack, it’s highly original. 😀

Once again, it was a bit short, but thanks for breaking it up to smaller sections ^.^; (I’d rather have short than excessively long.)
Ah, In my opinion, the drama in the last conversation was a bit rushed though >.< It just seemed, “BRAWR I GOT MAAAD GRRR” *Crimson cries* *Crimson leaves* [end]
    😮 Does that make sense?

  5. Hehe, it was a bit rushed, but it gets revealed why she left so suddenly in the next part which i’m still writing/editing.

  6. To the few who truly like my story, I shall keep writing. I’ll be sending notifications to whoever requests it when they are released
