Camp Maple II.

I apologize for this chapter coming so late. On the original part that I was going to post was just a long conversation, nothing interesting at all. So I had to come up with a way to make it good for all the readers, and this is what I came out with, somthing interesting!. I hope you all like this part, and I also hope you are all excited about the “Back 2 back” launch with both chapter 3 and 4 launching the same day. Yes it may take a while with school starting and all, but I hope you all enjoy this part. Thank you. ^_^

Camp Maple, part II.
Snide da’ snail of: “cabin 333”
A continuation from the prologue.

Quote from chapter 1: prologue.
The three of us followed the funny map until we found a large gap in the ground below us, with a small amount of cabins, and we look at the map once more, to see the spot was marked X.
/Part 1.

Quite like a graveyard, Caleb, Andy, and Stephanie were YET AGAIN unpacking our things into our new cabin: “Cabin 333” located at the newb camping grounds: “The new scouts.”
Gracefully packing and folding clothes, Andy was spraying the cabin with air freshener and dusting all the abandoned cob-webs away under our old, dusty beds.
Stephanie was lying down since she already cleared her errands, listening to music.
Since we all were disappointed that we lost our AWESOME cabin, “Cabin 777” I was slowly shining my strange half-rusted weapon, which my father gave me when he went to fight Zacum.
I also Saw the other newb campers outside the cabins small window, Many of them were gathering fire wood.
“Fire wood?” I thought, closely watching everyone.

“Hay guys, I think were late for another activity.” said Stephanie.

When she said that, we all hoped up and opened the door to see the: newb camp’s scout master.
He was a magician unlike the other camp site’s scout master.

“Why, hello there.” He said.
“I take it you’re the 3 that just moved in here today.”

“And I take it you’re our new scout master!” I said excitedly.

“Welcome to: the newbs in training, camp area: “the training scouts.” Or “new scouts” for short.” He said.

“Ya, I gathered “he” would say that.” whispered Andy.

“You do a lot of studying, don’t you?” I asked the scout master.

“YA, since that grumpy scout master: “General Darren” that scouts al the higher level players, reassigned me to “The new scouts” camping grounds, I haft to study a lot to keep this place intact. And also, it’s my job here at “Camp Maple.” He replied.

“Sir, do you have a hate for the other scout master?” Andy asked with his hands behind his back.

He sighed a depressing sigh, and walked into our cabin.

“You 3 seem to understand me.” The scout master said, piffling on Andy’s bed. Andy was shuddering from seeing someone he never met on HIS bed. Who knows what kind of germs he carries.

I remembered we all got caught off subject and reminded the scout master of the wood gathering.
There was already an entire pile of wood in front of the camping grounds.

“Sir, we just got here, were unaware of any activities at “this” camp site.” I said.

“Well, I see.” The scout master said slowly thinking.
“As you can see, everyone is gathering fire wood for today’s snail roast, an activity we do monthly.” The scout master replied.

Mine, Andy’s, and Stephanie’s eyes all popped WIDE open when he mentioned: “Snail roast.”
I imagined a snail shell with some fried and burned snail inside. Oh-ya, that sounds good!
I could hardly wait.

“What do we haft to do?” I asked with a burst of excitement.

The scout master smiled and handed us all 3 small and unique swords.

“What are these going to do to help us?” asked Andy.

“Unlike the OTHER camp” the scout master said angrily.
We all, the newbs that is, have special weapons. Like those you hold now.”

We all glance at our new swords in curiosity, since they looked like a normal fruit knife, but saw that they had the letters “C M” in-carved into the handle.

“COOL!” I thought as I hid my father’s sword under my old and rigged bed. Dusty too.

The scout master got up and walked out the cabin and handed us all a sheet of paper.
“What I need you and everyone else to do, is go out into the forest and kill as many stumps as you possibly can.” He said with confidence in is voice.
“They drop wood and twigs, all the wood and whatever you get, bring them here to the front of the camp, are ya’ll clear on this?”

“RIGHT! The more wood, the more snails to eat! YAY!” I cried as I pack some red potions and herbs in a small patch, which all the campers had.

Instead of bothering the other campers, we all decided to continue into a darker, older looking section of woods, guessing no one would be there.
To our surprise, we found no one, and we had to duck from all the wet vines slapping our face.
And of course, there’s Andy with his germ-a-phobia, freaking out at every snail and leaf he saw on the wet ground below us. As usual, it made me giggle under my breath.

“Do you think we should make a party?” asked Stephanie nervously, watching for any monster movement, cautiously.

Andy was about to answer, but we were all interrupted by a rude voice behind us saying: “Hay losers!”

We turn to see a small guy and girl that just killed 4 stumps; they looked familiar to me, like I have known them for a while.

“What are you losers doing here?” the guy asked.
“This is, I, Cody’s training spot! He yelled with even more aggression.

“That right noobs!” the girl shouted, holding a bundle of fire wood.

“Cody?” I wondered, “OH! You used to be the look out for the ship on Maple Island!” I shouted, when I figured out where I knew him from.

Cody stabs his sword in the ground with anger: “I never like it when you bring up the past.” He said.

“Well I bet you noobs can’t get as much fire wood as I can!” he cried.

“That’s right noobs!” the girl replied……Again.

They both walked off with an evil grin and snickering. (Isn’t that a candy? -_-“)
Cody, the rude lad, saw a stump and glanced at us in paranoia. He jumped in the air, then cut the stump making it yell, then rolled on the ground and stabbed it, killing it.

“That was stylish” I thought as I held my sword in my hand,

“Losers!” Cody cried walking off with MORE wood.

“I need to do a cool move like that!” I shouted, running through the woods looking for more stumps.

Andy and Stephanie ran after me, with more vines slapping us, as they find me standing still.

“Quite” I said.
“A dark stump.” I whispered with an evil smile. The dark stump was on a ledge on a HUGE hill with trees below us. It felt like the ledge could collapse below me any time now.

“You can’t fight that!” Stephanie cried. “It’s too high on health!” she yelled as she ran to pull me back.

“Watch this cool move!” I cried as I jump off the ledge to strike the stump, and Stephanie missed me by an inch, almost making her fall.

I missed the stump, but landed on it’s ~head instead. ~ (It rhymes! ^_^ )
Making it freak out! It ran around until the ledge started to crack.
It stopped and looked at me slowly. I looked at it, shrugged my shoulders, and we both fell down the collapsing ledge!

“Caleb!” Stephanie cried as she and Andy watch me fall into the thick forest below us.

I was unconscious. I had slept for about an hour, hanging on a tree branch. I looked down to see my clothes were saturated in blood. My clumsy ways had led me too a strange forest with monsters I have never seen before below me. I felt sad that I was now alone and probable up-set the entire camp. I didn’t even think to move, I just wonted to hang there alone.

“Are you all right?” a small and squeaky voice asked.

I turned to see who was talking and saw a small snail, hiding his appearance in a shadow.

“I guess I’m fine, little guy.” I replied to the strange little snail.

“Are you going to hurt me?” it asked.

“No way! What did you ever do to me?” I said cracking a smile like I was about to laugh, but not at him.

The snail comes out of the shadow, and the first thing I see, is a colorful shell, with purple green and dark colors over a blue shell. It also had a black right eye.

“I take it you wont out of there, don’t ya?” the snail said with his real, tough voice, with a smile reveling a golden tooth.

“Yes! I rely wont out! Can you do that?” I wondered.

“Oh, I have my ways.” It said as it started to cut the vines on my arms. They let me go, and I landed on my feet in the tree tops.

“This is just like Ellina.” I thought.
“Say, thanks for helping me out there snail!” I shouted happily.

“Oh, you know your going to haft to repay the favor, don’t ya know?” the snail said.

I stopped and stared at the snail’s black eye, and could tell he was no wimp.

“Sure little snail! I will haply help you!” I shouted.

“Perfect!” The snail shouted, as he stared at my badge that said “333” on it, before he jumped on my shoulder.

“I’m Snide, Snide da’ Snail!” He shouted in my ear.

I smiled and introduced my self to Snide as we both walked along the tree tops with Snide still stare in at my suit’s badge. “333” He thought. “PERFECT!”
